This Course looks like it needs some work.
In years past we have always enjoyed this course but, right now the course could use some work.
It appeared that it had been over seeded and due to rain the day before was very wet.
We were given a list when we arrived of times at each tee the water sprinkler would come on and had to use cart paths only.
Very nice layout, highly recommend.
Had overseeded the fairways and were watering so carts on path, no big deal there, but soft conditions did make it play long. I really enjoyed the Bad & Ugly, but too much water in play for my wife who doesn't hit it very far. Very nice course, which I will play again.

Fun course, challenging, fair condition for time of year, rate was fair for this course condition, friendly staff, nice practice range that was included in fee.
Great layout
Hombre should be a great golf day. Unfortunately on Nov 5th 2013 they decided to run their sprinkler system after 10:00 am and flooded several areas of the course Bad to Ugly. It really ruined the day with very wet conditions. In fairness we have played Hombre in the past and loved it. Hopefully watering during mid morning was a mistake they will not repeat. If not for the watering issue would rate it a solid 4.5.

The Bad to Ugly is a great golf course...well maintained. It is a challenging golf course...well laid out. I would play it again!
Just played the good was just average
Good condition I guess but my wife and I found it to be a little boring.didn t play bad or ugly which we heard was a bit more challenging

One of the best in the Panhandle!
We enjoyed a great round of golf in mid-October. We played with no wait in front and no pressure from behind. The employees were very friendly and the course was well cared for. We have played golf all around Florida and Hombre measures up to all of them. There are no hills (Florida, duh!) but plenty of water to make it a challenger. We highly recommend Hombre.

If you like a course with a lot of water...You have come to the right place!!!
Bad Conditions
To begin with, the staff are very unfriendly and not very helpful. From phone calls made prior to tee time to actually arriving at the course, it is hard for me to understand how a Q-school is going to b held here. Played the Bad and Ugly course. Both are very challenging. It had rained the night before and I was driving 2 hours to play here. I called several times that morning to see if the course was going to be open and each call I got the run around. Drove there anyway and wish I hadn't. Course was flooded. Apparently they have serious drainage issues. Maybe if it hadn't rained the night before I would feel different but as of right now, I have no desire to play this course again. The course was in such bad condition that one of our players quit playing in the middle of the round.

Enjoyed playing there. Bad and Ugly are both good 9s.
Great challenging course
This Bad/Ugly course was in awesome condition. It was a very challenging course and "ate my lunch"; but my game is not very good right now. Hope to get to play again in the future!
Love this course!
Greens were in great shape and weather was great, still damp in places from previous rains but playable.
Course was good & bad, but greens were ugly.
Price on Golfnow was only $34; however the conditions of the greens were certainly not up to the usual standards of this course. It looked like the greens had some sort of disease that killed 10-15% of the surface area of each green.
Other than the greens, the rest of the course was in great shape. We had to stay on the cart paths because of rain earlier in the week which slowed play. Carts are new and very quick, making for a four-hour round even though we had to keep the carts on the paths.
Great greens and fairways
Fun course. Some easy and some challenging holes make up this course.
REQUIRED MY WIFE AND I TO USE ALL THE CLUBS IN OUR BAGS
WITH THE DRY SPELLS LATELY THE COURSE HAS FINALLY GOTTEN DRY, THEY ARE GETTING THE FAIRWAYS IN GOOD CONDITION. UPDATING SOME GREENS THAT WERE EFFECTED BY THE RAINS THEY HAD THE LAST FEW MONTHS. WE LOVE TO PLAY IT AND CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY AGAIN.
Good course.
Overall the course was in good condition. Sand traps needed to be raked up. Greens were VERY slow. Fairways were cut tight and in very good condition.
Pace of play was good
Starter was very nice but pro shop did not offer a warm reception. The greens needed some attention.

I played there I liked the course, I had a hole in one lucky me.
I expected to get some kind of certificate, they are nice enough to put it in the local news paper .
That is good for the locals but most players are tourist.
Chances of it happening to me again are next to none,
but for others it isn't very much to have something they can print and give it to the lucky player.
