Palm Cove Golf and Yacht Club

Enjoy playing this course. Challenging when it’s windy.

We had a group of of 8 play here. Most were first timers. Everyone was impressed. It’s not a long course but is quite challenging. Nice looking landscaping, water, fountains and flowers. This was my 4th visit and it’s always been fun. P. S. Bring extra balls.

My wife and I play here often throughout the year and never have we experienced the brutally slow pace of play as we did yesterday. The staff seemed overwhelmed with number of golfers and also shorthanded as we never did see a ranger or anyone else attempt to speed up the pace during our way too time consuming round of golf. As I indicated we have played here quite often in the past however it will be a while before we return.

There are no senior tees. There a number of carries that were difficult for me and I believe other seniors.

STAFF IS AWESOME! It would be great to utilize the clubhouse after golf but it is rarely open. course is well kept and fun

We enjoyed our round very much. Great condition and fun to play. Only downside was the bathrooms on the course. We saw 2. The first one was horrible and in an un-maintained condition. The second one (back nine) was better, but not much better. I have no idea what they are thinking by not having usable facilities.

Cart path only the day we played but the pace was good.

Any level would enjoy this course.

We have played this golf course several times, and every time we play there, it’s a challenge. I’m sure we will be playing Palm Cove several times over the winter. Especially if I keep getting deals from Golfnow.com . Love the deals we get on their site. Really glad to be a member.

As usual the course today presented a fair test of skill and patience. Course was moist/soggy in some places due to recent weather but nothing remotely severe or unpleasant.

Course is in good shape and the staff is friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that they crammed 18 holes in an area that can support maybe 14 or 15 holes at most. Gary Player originally designed the first 14 holes and then gave up. Chi Chi Rodriguez redesigned it years later and did the best he could. It is rather picturesque, though. They did a good job retaining natural water hazards and preserve areas.

We played on an extremely windy day, even for Florida and any long shot was truly guided by the wind. The course is in great condition and the greens are quite quick but very true. The conditions were such that we didn't score well but that's golf. Nevertheless we enjoyed the round and we shall return for a rematch.

First time playing this course which is a few miles from my home. Will most likely be the last time also! I was surprised at the condition of the course, not very well maintained. Cart paths are good but bridges need to be refurbished. For a gated private community, I am curious why the members don’t demand better conditions!! Golf shop is mediocre, person checking you in not very hospitable. Cart/Starter attendant however was excellent!!! I joined a couple for the front nine, nice people. Back nine joined up with a threesome When play got bogged down, fun guys. Fairway rough was very gnarly and fairwayswere spotty. I probably won’t play here again, since there are better options available in our area!!

I have been playing this course every year for the past 5 years. It has always been o e of my favorite course in the area. From tee boxes up to the green, the course is in great condition. I will play it again and again without hesitation

This course is a little tight. Once you play it a few times, you know where the trouble is and try to avoid it. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. It really is a great value.
