Ok course but several things make it difficult to enjoy
1. Perhaps more than usual but a lot air plane traffic. Very noticeable.
2. The greens not in very good condition at all.
3. Not much room to play golf. Too close to homes is rather awkward. Too many areas are totally out of play such that if you mishit anything your are most probably not even going to find your ball, period or potentially playable or not.
4. Course layout requires you ride through and into the community too often.
Keep comming back
My wife and I first started playing this course last Spring. We have returned to Fl. for a winter break and this was the first time back. The course is well kept and laid out among the properties. Some of the homes are located where it is easy to slice or hook and hit a roof. Gets into ones head at times. We always lose a number of balls because of water and rough but a solid golfer can control hit enough to keep in the fairways. It is a lovely course as well.
This year some greens were a bit worn and needed attention. All were well dressed and true for putting. The staff is always very accommodating and friendly.
You will want to keep returning as well.
Great Deal
First playing the course. Matched with another first timer, and it was a fun challenging course. Will play there again. Great buy.
Good value for the money.
The course is tight with a lot of water. Bring extra balls. It was in decent shape and we played in 4 hours on Saturday. Teeing off around 11:30.
The course has a lot of obstacle
The course has a lot of different thing, to go the Green , water, sandtrap, Bush , Dog let , very hard course to play,
But lovely
Nice day
I had a Good time. Greens rolled true. Distances are well marked in fairways. Played in 4 hours.
Good course for the money and the staff were friendly.
Like Owning Your Own Course
We play here often, the course is always in good shape and we get around very quickly as it seems golfers somehow fear this tract and therefore it isn't very busy yet. It is a challenge and you'd better be able to control your golf ball or it will be a long day, but the course is a fair test and the staff here is great.
Fun and challenging
Great layout, beautiful surroundings, the course is challenging, plenty of doglegs and strategically placed traps and water to test ones accuracy. One of the best courses in the area.
Well designed course
Course is aimed at precision golf. Need to be played more than once to appreciate its challenges and designs
Green appeared to have been punched recently
great layout
This course was very beautiful and you need to be accurate. It is very female friendly but both the men enjoyed it also.
Almost Our Home Course
My wife and I play here at least once a week, the staff people are great, the fairways and the greens are in excellent condition, the price is inexpensive and the playing time is quite speedy. The only drawback is the restaurant but we haven't eaten there in over a year as our last experience was terrible so in fairness, we really don't know the situation now.
Top Condition
My wife and I regularly play four different courses in northern Martin and southern St. Lucie county and Palm Cove is by far the best maintained of the four, the fairways are in great shape as are the greens. Most traps have ample amounts of sand which is a problem for many other courses with the amount of rain we have experienced and much to my amazement and the cost of this kind of sand. The pace of play couldn't be better and the staff is always cheerful, a great place to enjoy golf.
