Palm Cove Golf and Yacht Club

I felt the course was in very good condition with a few glaring exceptions. The sand traps were not well maintained and in general were in poor condition. The fairways were in very good condition, were narrow, and challenging. the foliage along the way was somewhat overgrown, and needs attention. If you are a golfer who is ( on scale of 1-5 a 3,4,or5 bring lots of balls! If you have never played the course, don't worry, the next hole directions are all well marked. It is a beautiful course, and quite challenging. If you are looking for beauty as you play this a a gem. I lost 5 balls , but will play it again.

If you are playing in this area and do not check out this course you are missing out on a great time. Many forced carries are the hardest part, but the course if challenging yet fair.

Great place to play. If you go after it, it can bite you.Show respect and you may be rewarded.

Started raining at the end of the round. Otherwise, the weather was very good. The greens were aerated but didn't seem different. Aeration was a good job.

Course interesting, needed water. Fairways in tough shape.

Course itself is very tight in spots. We were almost hit by errant drives on several occasions. Bring lots of balls if you do play this course, and maybe a helmet.

Staff very friendly, nice restaurant, some beautiful homes, but must say I was very nervous with some balls flying past our heads on a few holes.

Pace of play was excellent, as we were just a twosome and figured with an 11:00 T time we’d be waiting but that wasn’t the case.

This course is in real good condition. Nice views of water, trees and sand. Challenging but not too tough. This is my third time playing here, I will be back.

This course is a hidden gem in my mind. While the conditions require a lift clean and place in some areas the course condition is acceptable. The lay out has some very difficult holes that are also very narrow. The greens are good and puttable and on the fast side. All in all, considering ptice and course, you should be playing here once or twice a month at a minimum. I’m in Florida for 8 weeks and will be here at least 6 times.

Course was in excellent shape pace was also excellent and everyone was super nice. We got rained out the last two holes but considering the difficulty of the course, it didn't bother us. This was the first time I played in 18 Months because of health problems but it couldn't have been at a better place.

A really enjoyable round, all hole offer a unique challenge. Excellent pace, less than 4 hours. Keep the ball in the middle, as many fairways slope to trouble. Try it, you’re sure to like it.

Just had a very bad start to the round. Had a 1:06PM tee time. The course ran out of carts. Had to wait 25 min. for a cart to come in. This should not happen. Need a ranger on the course to keep slow players moving. Other than this the course was in good condition and I enjoyed playing it for the first time.

I probably speak for many locals with scores in the 80’s, who consider Palm Cove a fun golfing experience. The course offers varied shot challenges, tee choices to suit both the better, and the “ not so better “ players, is kept in good condition and has a helpful, friendly staff. When I suggest going to Palm Cove to friends, they typically light up and say Yes.

Our favorite course in the area. It was particularly challenging because of the wind. It was stacked up and play was slowed but not a serious issue and we did not feel rushed or restrained. This course has some difficult areas so one lays needs extra balls!p's. Drop areas are not marked.

My main complaint on the front nine is that there is no on course facilities.

Course condition marginal, no water in ball washers, bathrooms on course not open, and.....4 1/2 + hr round, no rangers to move play along. Too many other choices, won't go back.
