Great value and fun course.
Good layout with lots of water. Short from whites but many challenges. Sand in traps tour quality and greens adequate with pronounced grain. Will play again before heading north.
Starts off Tough
Very well maintained and at times challenging course. The first hole can be a bear with water on both the tee shot and second shot to the green. Before the redesign this was #10 hole and not quite as daunting as one had played nine holes previously. Advice: Skip the restaurant.
Love Summer Golf
My wife and I played on a sunny Thursday. We caught a threesome on the third hole and they readily requested we played through which we gladly did and played the eighteen holes in just over 2 1/2 hours. Love Summer Golf!!! The course and greens are in excellent condition considering our lack of rain so far this year. We would give the course an "excellent" rating except the restaurant is way below par, so a "good" rating.
Great course and staff
Always a pleasure to play here. One of favorite local courses and course was in great shape for time of year. Have played here many times and to top off great day and price had my personal best round ever 84.
Control yourself
Play this course often and it can be humbling. Playing within your honest skill level is a must. Take what it gives you and don't overestimate your talent and you'll be on your way to appreciating a good challenge. It cane make anyone a better golfer if they accept the lesson. Many first timers leave mumbling to themselves, thereby missing out on a fun opportunity.
Precision Golf
I like this course because it forces you to place your ball strategically for your next shot. The course is narrow which forces me to not try and drive the ball 300 yds. Keeps me in control of my ball flight.
Excellent layout
Beautiful course! Narrow and chalenging. One of the best course around!
Challenging
Great course with friendly staff and a bar and grill (amazing burger and fries). The course conditions were great and pace was steady. However I suggest you leave your ego at home and use good course management. Misses left and right will prove costly. Tight fairways and protected green make this course challenging but fun.
Would play there again, but would not pay more than $35.00.
Golf Great Food Not
We enjoy the challenging layout of Palm Cove with water in play on at least eleven holes. The greens considering the lack of rainfall are in excellent condition as are the fairways. All in all the course is well worth the money. The restaurant is another story, if you eat inside the hot dogs are $7.00 and the brauts are $8.00, both of inferior quality, stale tasting and the size of one out of an eight pack you'd buy at Walmart for $2.50 both served with a few chips. For some reason both are $2.00 less on the menu posted in the golf cart.
