The Cove of Rotonda Golf Center

The course has undergone quite a few renovations under its new ownership. The fairways are lush and playable. The greens are rather slow and could use a cutting and rolled. Overall it is good place to practice your short game. Look forward to playing it at night under the lights. Recommended for a quick challenging round of golf on an executive course.

The stench on this course is deplorable. Dead fish on the cart paths, dead fish all along the banks of the large pond, at least 200 pelicans and to many to count vultures were all along the banks of the pond. The smell was actually making me sick. It appears that there is no effort by maintenance or
Anyone else to clean the place up. To bad this is going on, course started to look decent but who can play a relaxing game of golf when the stench of rotting fish is all around.

I would not want to pay full price here, but for $10 (golf now) it's a great deal! The new owners are working to improve course conditions . It's much improved from the old Duffy's. I haven't played night golf there but I hear it's fun

The lake with the driving range has a big oxygen problem. Hundreds of dead or nearly dead fish were fighting for their lives. Hundreds of all kind of birds were waiting to feed them. This was the a poor experience when starting at tee 1 and 10 and 11. Besides this the condition of course is very good and allowed a nice round

Have golfed here numerous times in the past. Always enjoy practising my short game here. The carts are great as is the staff. Was not bottled up either. Will definitely return.

Played several times in the spring, greens were in tuff shape. They put a lot of effort into the greens, much better. Fun course to practice.

Played this course yesterday. Fairways were quite good but greens very poor! If your looking for a pristine course this is not it. If your out to have fun and hit some balls as we did, go for it.
The price is excellent this time of year!

Have played this course often in the past but not in the past two years. It was formerly in terrific condition but has deteriorated a great deal. Perhaps it was closed for a period of time. Whenever it regains its former grandeur, it will be very pleasant to play once again. Overall, it's a decent value at a discounted rate.

Played Easter day . Course was empty. Nice day of golf with my wife. Played here earlier in the PEAK season with some guests from OHIO and had a nice time. Not Augusta Nat. but a good place to warm up northern visitors and chicks. Just keep them MOVING ALONG please. DAVE O.

Great for the person that wants to enjoy a fun day on a forgiving course.

Greens are somewhat bumpy and quite rough in areas but unless you're looking for better conditions in that regard and wish to pay 2-3 times as much, it works. I'm sure the new owners are working on them. Unless you're a long hitter the driver can be used on many holes unlike on some executive courses. For me it's just as fun and challenging at 3,600 yards as it is at 6,000.
