A bit dry in some places but totally understandable due to drought and watering restrictions. Reasonably dry compared to other courses in area. Actually, better than most if not all courses in the area.

Course they f this caliber should not allow attitude that exists from some staff members

Letting groups go off on front and back is a straight up money grab. 2 hour front 3 hour back 9

This one of the best courses in the area. It is always in great condition and has a great layout.

**Riverwood Golf Club – Port Charlotte, FL**

This was my fifth round at Riverwood, and it continues to be one of my go-to courses in the area. The layout is fun and engaging, and the overall course conditions were impressive — especially considering the significant drought Florida has been dealing with. The greens, fairways, and grounds crew clearly put in the work to keep things looking and playing well.

My only real gripe is the pace of play. Riverwood tees off both nines throughout the day, so even if your group moves quickly through your first nine, you're likely looking at a 20-30 minute wait at the turn. That pushed our total round to about four hours and fifteen minutes, which takes some of the momentum out of an otherwise smooth day.

That said, Riverwood is an excellent course and a great value for what you're paying. If you're in the Port Charlotte area and looking for a quality round, I'd highly recommend it.

I have played here since its opening and it has always been in very good shape. It is a hard course where work for par is a chore but well worth the effort. There is more room off the tee than it appears. Ill be back as long as i am able.

Riverwood is a beautiful layout and course most of the time. The dry conditions and obvious watering restrictions show. The course should have better yardage markers and/or cart GPS’s for guidance. The pace of play was great as we were the first ones off the back nine in a shotgun start with no one in front of us. I’ve played it many times before and the play is very slow with no Marshall speeding members along. The practice facilities are the absolute best however it was so crowded due to a member/guest tournament that you had to wait for an opening on the range. The bridges are in need of repair/resurfacing and the concrete cart paths are cracked in many places. But usually it is a beautiful, well maintained golf course that’s a pleasure to play.

This course was the best I have played on condition wise while in Florida these last six weeks. Fairways while not generous are playable greens in great shape and course layout is fun and visually pleasing. Being from Michigan I have played courses as nice but not nearly the price maybe golf is just more expensive in Florida

Tough golf course especially playing first time there and no GPS on the carts. Alot of placement shots off the tee. Very very small greens almost too small for where some of the pin placements were

Very green good grasses. No Bermuda. Tight layout. Challenging but fair.

Hands down the best grass fairways In the entire area. As good as any high end up north course.

Rest of the round was great but on hole 1 my golf cart died

Was very upset but luckily jumped in one and had a great round
