Riverwood Golf Club

Riverwood is a beautiful layout and course most of the time. The dry conditions and obvious watering restrictions show. The course should have better yardage markers and/or cart GPS’s for guidance. The pace of play was great as we were the first ones off the back nine in a shotgun start with no one in front of us. I’ve played it many times before and the play is very slow with no Marshall speeding members along. The practice facilities are the absolute best however it was so crowded due to a member/guest tournament that you had to wait for an opening on the range. The bridges are in need of repair/resurfacing and the concrete cart paths are cracked in many places. But usually it is a beautiful, well maintained golf course that’s a pleasure to play.

This course was the best I have played on condition wise while in Florida these last six weeks. Fairways while not generous are playable greens in great shape and course layout is fun and visually pleasing. Being from Michigan I have played courses as nice but not nearly the price maybe golf is just more expensive in Florida

Tough golf course especially playing first time there and no GPS on the carts. Alot of placement shots off the tee. Very very small greens almost too small for where some of the pin placements were

Very green good grasses. No Bermuda. Tight layout. Challenging but fair.

Hands down the best grass fairways In the entire area. As good as any high end up north course.

Rest of the round was great but on hole 1 my golf cart died

Was very upset but luckily jumped in one and had a great round

Had a great day, crying with friends and family was greeted with friendliness from every step. Member enjoyed warming up by hitting a few on the range and started on time with a slow start, but once things picked up, it had a study play, which I like course I think was an excellent shape overall good condition for the weather conditions of not having much rain was kept up well grands were nice and faster than the last courses that I’ve played can’t ask for a better day than that thanks

Course is in great condition even in a drought period. Better keep the ball in the fairway as there is no room in the rough…scrub on the front nine and water on the back. So if you require more room this course is not for you.

Great challenge for a low handicap player.
