Great condition!
Course is currently in excellent condition. Tee boxes, fairways and greens exceeded expectations. Staff is very friendly and informative. I feel very comfortable at this course. There is water pretty much on every hole. Water may not be in play on every hole but it’s not to far away. Beautiful course!
Happy repeat player
I like this course, awesome greens
Most can okay for less than $30.00
A STEAL
1st time
It was our first time on this course and didn’t realize how short the course is and that we would be playing behind multiple groups of youth golf academy students which included groups of 4-5 youth with one adult. The pace was incredibly slow waiting for them to move after every shot.
Always in nice condition
This course seems to always be in very good condition. It's tight, and there is a LOT of water. I got around the course without losing a golf ball . . . this time. But when you play here it's best to bring extra balls.
The greens were fast and have some subtle undulations, so practice your putting before setting off. Though the course is relatively short there are some holes that have some good carry from the tee over water, so choose your set of tees carefully.
I met a nice couple playing the course for the first time and had a pleasant round. The amount of play was very light due to rather warm weather so the pace of play was pretty fast - just three hours.
Great Condition. Very Challenging!
Besides the blistering heat, this is a great course! It may be short, but that doesn’t matter. The fairways are narrow, there are hazards everywhere, and the greens are FAST! Well worth the money. Very fun to play. The Club House crew was friendly and helpful for first time golfers.
Nice short course
Nice course, little tight at time for a new player. Flew in from out of town, premium rentals are in terrible condition. Would not recommend rentals but the course is nice.
Hot
We played today in the blistering heat but plenty of shade while waiting. The pace was a bit slow but still ok. 4 hr round. Not bad. We could have finished in 3 hr. Oh well. Course was in excellent condition. Greens were fantastic. Great speed. Fairway was excellent. Bunkers were nice sugar sand. Very soft. Tee box was nice. The entire course was in excellent condition. 5000+ from the whites. Tips are a nice distance. I recommend this place. Bring sun screen and plenty to drink. 5☆s
Really Good Condition
Our group plays here a few times a year mainly because they take such good care of the golf course. On the surface some see a simple par 66 short course, but the golf course requires some precise shots if you want to score well. The greens are exceptional and the entire golf course is well manicured. The staff has always been friendly. The pro shop is well stocked. A very well ran organization.
Condition, Value, Staff
Best conditioned course in the area, best valued for the money, friendly knowledgeable staff!
Social Distancing
Course was in excellent shape. Pace of play was fabulous and free bottled water. The only downside was there was no social distancing on the practice green or driving range. I believe there were 20-30 kids taking lessons on the practice green and driving range and nobody wearing masks including the trainers.
Wet
We enjoyed the beauty of this course, but you have to hit over water, what seemed like, every hole. The course on this day was a bit too wet, so it was cart path only, which takes some getting use to if you depend on GPS.
Bring extra balls...
Great course, I'm a total hack and probably lost 9-10 balls to the water, yeah, there is water, hence the name. I would really appreciate better information on regarding the course, something at the tee box so you know where water is, how far ahead (especially on the first tee) the water is etc. They keep telling me they have cards available showing all of that but are always out. I would encourage them to put something online, people could then add it to their phone and have a nice point of reference as they enjoy the day. Beautifully kept course, great carts, nice staff.
Wonderful Short Course
My wife and I played here for the first time today. The links were in great shape. Great fairways and greens...lots and lots of water. We had a great day! The food was very good too.
Hidden Gem
Second time playing course. The staff was professional and courteous. The pro shop is well stocked. The driving range is well kept. The carts are clean but GPS would be great. The course is immaculate, a lot of water hazards and not for a beginner. We enjoyed the host of ducks. The pace was the only draw back, relaxed group in front of us and a fast group behind us, “rush to wait”. We played din the rain on Memorial Day but still nice. Excellent course for the money. Would recommend course for intermediate players. The ponds are deep don’t look for stray balls.
Fairways and tee boxes in great shape. Greens excellent as usual. This is a must play course for everyone. All hole lengths are challenging. Dont le par 66 fool you there are still 18 holes.
Very well kept
Just like the name Cranes and Lakes. Lots of them. But well cared for. Bring balls and play the middle.
Great course
This course was great. Very fun and well maintained. The staff were great and the on-site restaurant was very nice and affordable. I highly recommend.
I WILL be back
Been playing golf in the NSB/Daytona area for 20 years and somehow I just stumbled upon Crane Lake for the first time. I have been missing out. This course is in fantastic condition from tee box to green. Not a blade of grass out of place. It’s also a fairly short course which it great for a short hitter like myself. The practice range is also the nicest range I’ve ever seen.

I don't believe you received the premium rentals. We offer Mizuno and Taylor Made Premium Rentals. I followed up with my staff and you played with the Standard Tour Edge Rentals. Next time you play here, just mention this incident and we will cover the cost of the Premium Rentals and make sure you do get the correct ones next time.
