Great course
This course was great. Very fun and well maintained. The staff were great and the on-site restaurant was very nice and affordable. I highly recommend.
I WILL be back
Been playing golf in the NSB/Daytona area for 20 years and somehow I just stumbled upon Crane Lake for the first time. I have been missing out. This course is in fantastic condition from tee box to green. Not a blade of grass out of place. It’s also a fairly short course which it great for a short hitter like myself. The practice range is also the nicest range I’ve ever seen.
Short but somewhat challenging course
This is a very short course with lots of par threes and if you hit it straight you can score really well but go left or right or short and you invariably will end up in water! Greens are very good and overall condition of the course was good. Pace of play was OK - foursome in front of us didn’t know what ready golf was.
Mini LPGA but more difficult
I've avoided Crane Lakes for years due to the short yardage and par 66. Big mistake, Crane Lakes maybe the best conditioned course in the area and also probably the tougest test from the tips. I definitely recommend moving up one tee your first time out due to many hidden hazards. I will definitely be returning
Always a great time
Crane lakes is reopened since the Covid shutdown and they remain at the top. You’ll love playing here, they usually book it pretty full so you’ll probably be behind someone but just enjoy your golf round and you won’t even notice
Exceptional Executive Course
I was staying with a friend who lives in Ormond Beach, and he wanted to play golf during my visit. He maybe plays 2-4 times/year so I thought this track would be a good place for a twilight round. I booked it solely on the reviews I read from other GolfNow customers. This place was so well kept tee to green, my friend even mentioned how nice it was for the money, and like I said, he doesn’t play that much, but he knew quality. This is a challenging course with exceptional greens. There are 8 par 3s, and all of them require you to be on the correct side of the flag to avoid 3-putts. Bryan in the pro shop was outgoing and friendly. One suggestion, I would raise the green fee $1 and give a divot repair tool to everyone who plays. Or, affix the small flags to the pin that read, “please repair ball marks.” I wasn’t in a rush, so I repaired 3-5 marks on every green. I simply don’t understand the thought process of golfers who don’t repair their marks. I would definitely play this Course again.
Hidden Gem!
From pro shop to tee to green this course was immaculate!! The tee boxes, fairways and greens were top notch! I’ve spent more for poorer conditioned courses. Will definitely be back and soon.
Excellent condition
Course was in great shape! Greens were fast but fair. Bunkers were pristine. Would definitely play here again.
Awesome condition
Tough track, greens and tees are awesome.......Great condition
Crane Lakes
You could not even get a simple hot dog or brat. Instead had to get a combo chili dog meal and wait
Crrane Lakes - Great place to play golf and have lunch.
Crane Lakes is a short, but wonderfully maintained course. Lots of water. Greens are very fair and putt well. Lots of wildlife around this course too, esp. if you're a bird lover. The restaurant serves a really nice fish and chips meal at a reasonable price. Overall, a very nice atmosphere, with very friendly people. Will definitely be playing this course again.
Glad we had enough balls
Fun little short course! Found a lot of water on the front nine until our swings warmed up. We’ll play it again
Shocker!!
We were a bit disappointed when we realized it was a par 66 course but actually it was great! Lots of water and helps you work on your short game. I'll come back!
short but challenging
Another good day on this short but challenging course. Very fast greens
short but challenging
A short course but still with a 400 yd par four .Very fast greens.
Please be accurate
Great course short and a lot of water You have to control your shots and if you want a quick round this is your place
