pleasant surprise as wonderful condition
greens in great shape, course in very good shape, very enjoyable pace. we'll be back.
Great layout
This course may not be a par 72 but don't let it fool you. It's quite a challenge especially from the back tees. Also a fun layout.
Great course/ Too many homes
Enjoyed the course but the presence of soooo many manufactured homes so close to each fairway detracts from the experience.
Tee and fairway conditions, pace of play, and greens were excellent and I am glad I played it.
Course in very good condition
Very good condition. Greens were some of the best in the area. Par 66 with 2 par fives so you've got to score on the 3's and 4'a. Lots of houses along the fairways so you've got to keep it straight. Only small negative I had was with tee time and starter. Booked an 8:02 tee time as a single. When I got to the course I had an email that my tee time was changed to 8:26. Not a big deal. But starter than told me it was up to the 3 some if I could play with them. Felt like I was getting the not a local treatment. The very nice lady in the pro shop cleared it up and I went with a nice group at 8:20. Starter than apologized for the confusion. Will play here again.
Crane Lakes, a beautful and Fun course to play
This course has been extensively renovated since the last time I played there. It is a beautiful course with some easy holes and some very challenging ones. Hitting over water is lots of fun and the greens are in excellent condition and fast. I highly recommend this course for all but beginning golfers.
Very fun course
The pro shop was really nice. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. The food and beverage was limited to a few microwaveable items and
portable coolers for sodas and beer. The driving range and practice green were excellent and the golf carts top of the line. The course was beautiful with nice tee box's and greens that are flawless and very consistent. Not your typical course (8 par 3's, 8 par 4's and 2 par 5's) but extremely enjoyable. Looking forward to going back.
What a Gem!
I have played this course off and on since it was built, and have always loved it. But this is the first time playing since the renovations. Wow was I impressed. The greens were awesome and the course looked great. Much more challenging than one would expect from an "executive course". Cannot wait to revisit with a group of friends.
Great course for all skill levels
I found that this course was well worth the price. Everything about the course was ver well maintained and in excellent condition, even down to the carts. This course is a short course, with a lot of par 3's, so you will have not have to pull the woods from your bag very often, giving you plenty of iron practice. All in all, it was a very nice course and a joy to play.
Beautiful Course
First time on this course. Really beautiful and well manicured course. Short but still challenging.
Fairways were in great shape. Greens were consistent and really nice. I will be playing this course many more times for sure.
Excellent challenging course
Crane Lakes is a water-filled , challenging layout. It is in excellent condition on all levels. Eight par threes and a variety of holes made for a very pleasurable experience. We definitely play here again. This course is more fun for straight/accurate players. Many interesting and beautiful golf holes.

Fun course to harness your iron game
First time playing the course. First tee off time of 720. Flew through the course. Par 66!! Lots of par 3's and lots of water. I donated a few balls there for sure. The course game me a good chance to work on my irons. The course was in pretty good shape. Slow greens would be my only concern. I highly recommend playing there and eating there as well

The greens was excellent and the fairway were in great shape
Tee time late
Although I like this course, great location and well kept, with friendly staff, etc. our tee time was delayed almost 40 minutes.
Too many people, very backed up, also Clubhouse was closed!
Nice Day, Love the course
The course was in great shape, pace was just right and we had a great time. Will be back later.
Fun to play
Course was in good condition. Fairways and greens were playable and maintained.
"Lakes" for a reason
Lovely little course. Quite short, so I played from the tips. Lots of water, every hole, sometimes twice. Cool island green near the end. Lots of par 3s and only two par 5s but the trick is hitting straight and keep the ball out of the water (I lost three on one hole). Greens were in good shape, with a fair bit of undulation, and tricky to read, didn't always slope towards the water. Got a good deal on Golfnow
Great afternoon for golf
Enjoyed this course, but did loose some balls in the water.
first timer
Being new to the state of florida this course was very pretty and challenging. Played with my husband and a friend and had a great time. Great course to work on your short game. Very long par 3's.
Fun Course
Water challenging on some holes but very enjoyable and relaxing play.
