About
Cypress Head, an Arthur Hills design, is a blend of holes and styles, a layout of two distinct nines that impress players through different means. At 6,805 yards from the tournament tees, the course is not a beast (there are three alternative sets to choose from).
The first nine is the highlight at Cypress Head. These holes take on a variety of shapes and strategies with little repetition.
It features multi-tiered undulating greens and preserved wetlands with water coming into play on 14 of the 18 holes. The 14th hole is a 478-yard par 4 over water that comes into play off the tee as well as the second shot to the multi tiered green.
The Golf Club also features a lighted driving range and practice facility. Two practice putting greens, a target green and sand bunkers for honing your skills before taking on the challenges of the course
With its' superb conditions and beautiful wetlands setting, Cypress Head is a public club that offers a private and tranquil experience.

Never disappoints
Cypress Head is always in great shape tee to green and offers a variety of holes with many mounds and rolling fairways as well as a good amount of water. Several tee shots carry over water or a hazard. A few doglegs.
Great design & condition
It will be a favorite after you play it once. City course but always one of the top maintained courses year round. Every tee is a different (& great) experience. The range is TRAGIC. C’mon boys grass is good for the range. The fairways are great but the range is DIRT. Get some mats if necessary.
Good value, fun layout
Played about 10 days after they punched and top dressed the greens. They were pretty slow, need about another week or so to fill in and few cut/rolls, but was surprised that they rolled decent. Fun layout with a good mix of holes.
Beautiful location
This was my first time playing the course and my son in law was with me visiting from out of town. We were paired up with another twosome. I would have preferred just the two of us played. Also greens were airarated recently and some greens still had a fair amount of sand on them. Overall a very nice facility and course. Will definitely play again.
Pace of play was VERY slow. 2 foursomes in front of us. Someone should be moving them along faster.
Aeration alert Please!!
Love this track, one of our favorites. Always in the best condition.. Wish there was an alert that the greens had been aerated. Would have played elsewhere.
Great conditions and layout
Everything was in great shape, including the range. One of the areas better courses imo.
Always Enjoyable
One of the nicest courses in the area. Well maintained, fair and peaceful! Greens are fantastic, though aeration and sanding is coming.
Great course.
We live in The Villagez, Fl which has more holes of golf anywhere in the world., 800+ holes. We play golf 3 times a week and have played golf in most states. Always looking for new courses. I liked the reviews so we checked it out. Very good conditions, nice greens (average green speed to slightly faster than average), but tough to read. Very nice layout, kind of course you need to play more than once to know what you should do. Price was VERY good compared to out Florida coursez. Put the on your courses to Play.
Gem
Great Layout, Great pricing, Great greens, Awesome FW’s. Best value in the area in my opinion played at 7:00 am Monday morning under 3 hours as a twosome.
I haven’t played a course in the area that touches this one for almost half the price. I will play again, 100 percent.
