About
Cypress Head, an Arthur Hills design, is a blend of holes and styles, a layout of two distinct nines that impress players through different means. At 6,805 yards from the tournament tees, the course is not a beast (there are three alternative sets to choose from).
The first nine is the highlight at Cypress Head. These holes take on a variety of shapes and strategies with little repetition.
It features multi-tiered undulating greens and preserved wetlands with water coming into play on 14 of the 18 holes. The 14th hole is a 478-yard par 4 over water that comes into play off the tee as well as the second shot to the multi tiered green.
The Golf Club also features a lighted driving range and practice facility. Two practice putting greens, a target green and sand bunkers for honing your skills before taking on the challenges of the course
With its' superb conditions and beautiful wetlands setting, Cypress Head is a public club that offers a private and tranquil experience.

Nice track and very friendly staff.
Have played this course over the last few years during my annual stay in the area and have never been disappointed. The course this year is in especially great condition . Hats off to the greens keeper and course maintenance crew.
Great Day
The course is in pretty good shape. It was windy but, temp. was perfect. I hope they keep up the good work. Please stay in good shape.
Enjoyed the round
Pace was good. Greens were in good shape. Friendly staff. Only complaint was No Cart person.
Will come back and load up on beverages before round.
Solid Choice
Played several courses in the area over vacation, this course was the overall best value for you money. Great layout for intermediate play as well as a scratch golfer. Fun course to play, staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Lots of wildlife and nice views.. Highly recommend for a fun day of golf if your new to the area.
Great course
By far best course we have played in this area. Greens true. Fairways green with good grass. Bunkers well maintained. Challenging course but forward tees excellent for my skill. Staff and ranger very polite and helpful Will play again soon
Course was in fantastic shape as usual the greens were rolling true and it's the fastest I've seen them here I recommend this course
Great track and in good shape
3rd game in 3 weeks, I’m very impressed with the course conditions, I’m a snow bird so I have played quite a few different tracks.. I would rate this one in the Top 5 in Daytona for conditions in Feb
Great course but...
Course was in great shape per usual. From tee to green nothing real negative to say.
But....
On the 14th hole while in the middle of the fairway, a young (mid 20s early 30s) ranger proceeded to tell our group "we were running way behind, there were golfers behind us and they needed carts for tee times that were waiting for carts to tee off." The folks behind us might have waited a min or two a times to tee off, which is NORMAL this time of year. Mind you we were the FIRST tee time of the day at 7:45am, so of course there were folks behind us. The timing of our round round through 14 holes was 2hrs 58min and we finished the round at 3hrs and 54min, which is about average,. We were also a foursome and I played from blues, two others played from whites and we had a lady with us from ladies tee. We were NOT slow and it was rude of the ranger to say that to us. It was the course's fault for over booking.
There was about 10 bags waiting for carts when we finished.
This was not the first time something like this has happened...
A few months ago I showed up for an 11ish am tee time to find out they had a shot gun tournament at 8a (no notification prior) and I had to waitt over an hour for the tournament to finish. Why would anyone start a tournament at 8am and offer tee times for non tournament players at 11am is beyond me.
None of this makes this a bad course, but just be prepared for a cart fiasco during busy times.

Nice community and course is usually in good condition. Always enjoy playing there.
Really Enjoyed the Round
Teed off early, was put with 3 other guys, had a good day. Course in great shape. I can't seem to read the greens. Lots of grain, lots different than the grasses in North Carolina. Would definitely recommend.
Great day at Cypress
Our first time at Cypress Head and we’ll be back. The course was in very good condition and the greens were in great shape. Putts run true , you you gotta do is get it started on the right line. Very enjoyable day.
