About
Cypress Head, an Arthur Hills design, is a blend of holes and styles, a layout of two distinct nines that impress players through different means. At 6,805 yards from the tournament tees, the course is not a beast (there are three alternative sets to choose from).
The first nine is the highlight at Cypress Head. These holes take on a variety of shapes and strategies with little repetition.
It features multi-tiered undulating greens and preserved wetlands with water coming into play on 14 of the 18 holes. The 14th hole is a 478-yard par 4 over water that comes into play off the tee as well as the second shot to the multi tiered green.
The Golf Club also features a lighted driving range and practice facility. Two practice putting greens, a target green and sand bunkers for honing your skills before taking on the challenges of the course
With its' superb conditions and beautiful wetlands setting, Cypress Head is a public club that offers a private and tranquil experience.

Easy
Great east layout for high handicappers. Restaurant was exceptional. Service overall was way above average.

Highly enjoyable
The course was in excellent shape given the amount of recent rain, but it meant that by playing off the back black tees and without much roll on my drives, i was hitting 3 wood into the 420+ yard par 4s.
The black tees also made the Par 3s significantly more challenging.
Although I did not score that well, i thoroughly enjoyed my round there and will definitely return when I come back to Orlando.
It is a course that makes you think about how to manage your way around and the approaches to the greens and the greens themselves also pose challenges.
On balance I think the front 9 is better and tougher than the back 9.
All staff were super friendly.
Perfect Vacation Round
Was able to get in a round on this course during a week's vacation in the area. Everything was great including the 3 people within whom I was grouped.

Great Course
Hurricane cleanup took a while but was worth the wait. One of best courses in the area.
Great value for you money
With golf prices going out of control, this course has a great price for what you get. The course is in very good shape with several holes requiring well placed shots. Greens are well maintained and in nice shape.
Fairways and greens
Course seemed to drain fairly well although several fairways could use help.
Stay away
Found out that the course was cartpath only when I got there. The course really needs to be shut down until it can dry out. There was standing water on a lot of the course, sand traps were more like mud pits. I don’t mind playing cartpath only but again I truly believe they need to let the course dry out. It was not fun to play, my playing partner and I caught up to a group ahead of us in which there were five players playing the same hole. I literally stopped after nine holes because it was so frustrating. Not sure I will be back ever again.
