About
Cypress Head, an Arthur Hills design, is a blend of holes and styles, a layout of two distinct nines that impress players through different means. At 6,805 yards from the tournament tees, the course is not a beast (there are three alternative sets to choose from).
The first nine is the highlight at Cypress Head. These holes take on a variety of shapes and strategies with little repetition.
It features multi-tiered undulating greens and preserved wetlands with water coming into play on 14 of the 18 holes. The 14th hole is a 478-yard par 4 over water that comes into play off the tee as well as the second shot to the multi tiered green.
The Golf Club also features a lighted driving range and practice facility. Two practice putting greens, a target green and sand bunkers for honing your skills before taking on the challenges of the course
With its' superb conditions and beautiful wetlands setting, Cypress Head is a public club that offers a private and tranquil experience.

Stay away
Found out that the course was cartpath only when I got there. The course really needs to be shut down until it can dry out. There was standing water on a lot of the course, sand traps were more like mud pits. I don’t mind playing cartpath only but again I truly believe they need to let the course dry out. It was not fun to play, my playing partner and I caught up to a group ahead of us in which there were five players playing the same hole. I literally stopped after nine holes because it was so frustrating. Not sure I will be back ever again.
Very enjoyable
The course was a very pleasant surprise with the condition and layout and challenging holes. Very good and friendly staff.
Great Value and Excellent Conditions
Greens and fairways in Excellent condition. Course layout is very good and pleasant environment. Some force Carries from the back tees. A number of water hazards. Facilities very good.
what a wonderful course in great shape
i played as a single and got paired up with a young man that was a great player, just didn't putt as well as me this day. The other two in our 4-some were not very good and played from the Golds. Great course, loved playing it, shot well, look forward to coming back one day.
Great value for great course
This was my third time playing here and the course was in tremendous shape from tee to green. While the greens were grainy (not a negative), they all rolled true and consistent. The fairways and rough were in excellent condition, as were the tee boxes on all holes. The clubhouse and outside staff (including cart girl) were all super friendly. I was very much impressed with all aspects of the course and can’t wait to play there again!
Impressed
We play this course a few times a year. The course was in the best condition I have ever seen. The fairways and second cut were defined perfectly. The greens were in good shape. And as always the staff were very professional and polite. We play every weekend somewhere and will put Cypress Head on our rotation. Thank you guys.
Very Well Kept
Fun course! Lots of water in play, but the course is fair and in terrific shape. Highly recommend.
Legitimate Golf
The White tees are pretty short (under 6k yds), the Blues are more challenging, and the tips are legit at 6,800 or so. Nice fairways, generally reasonable rough, reasonable sand and consistent greens make for an enjoyable round. The back tees have some tight tee shots and forced-carry shots I don’t recommend the tips to anyone who won’t still comfortably carry 230-yds on a “good miss”. The greens aren’t particularly fast, and they’ll hold both high-angle approach and low, spinning shots. All in all, this is probably my favorite Daytona area course…LPGA’s courses are very nice, but I still think Cypress Head is my fav.
Great value fir the money
Course in excellent shape. Pin placements were difficult for a Publix course and blues played al.ostvas long as golds, but a great time!
