About
Cypress Head, an Arthur Hills design, is a blend of holes and styles, a layout of two distinct nines that impress players through different means. At 6,805 yards from the tournament tees, the course is not a beast (there are three alternative sets to choose from).
The first nine is the highlight at Cypress Head. These holes take on a variety of shapes and strategies with little repetition.
It features multi-tiered undulating greens and preserved wetlands with water coming into play on 14 of the 18 holes. The 14th hole is a 478-yard par 4 over water that comes into play off the tee as well as the second shot to the multi tiered green.
The Golf Club also features a lighted driving range and practice facility. Two practice putting greens, a target green and sand bunkers for honing your skills before taking on the challenges of the course
With its' superb conditions and beautiful wetlands setting, Cypress Head is a public club that offers a private and tranquil experience.

Cypress Head
Course was a fun layout with above average conditions IMO for Florida golf. Although, PRAY you do not get behind any groups of old ladies as they are very very slow and refuse to let you play through. Acted like they owned the course and that I was unworthy of being in their presence.
Would not recommend this course unless you have all day! Fun otherwise :)

Course played well though a little wet. Cart path only on 5 holes.. Staff is very friendly and professional. Great course for the money.

Great course for the money. Played 27 holes with a 3some in about 5 hours, do place of play was not an issue. Course is in great shape.

Played this course for first time and must tell you I have nothing but praise to everyone involved with this course.

No turkeys on this course...beautiful course, challenging layout, great greens...what a great day of play. While conditions were good, specifically the greens, the fairways could have been shown a little more love
Great course
The only reason I gave the course 4 stars is because the greens overall were not great. It appeared they had just fertilized and quite a few had bare spots. Being a once a week golfer I felt this was a good value and also a course that was challenging but not to the point of discouraging a new golfer. Staff was wonderful. Did not eat this time but have had their sandwiches before that were very good.
Slow greens with some in bad shape
I’ve been playing this course for years and the condition of most of the greens was surprising compared to the way they have been in the past. I took a chance after a long hiatus today and it was good to play it again but trying to figure out speeds on the greens was frustrating.
Enjoyable play
It was the third time I have played in the last 2 weeks I play early so I have had no pace of play issues the course conditions have gone from good to very good and there is only one green with issues the greens are slow but are smooth I would recommend this course at this time for all

Nice as always but the slowest greens I have ever experienced
I really like this course and today the course was in good condition the greens however were exceptionally slow.
I will play here again as my only fault is with the greens soeed
Good except for one thing.....
Good day except for the rude and horrible behavior from a couple who was likely members based on what they were doing. Pace was pretty good and there was some waiting on most holes but a couple one of whom was a chain smoking women who was tossing butts all over like Hansel And Gretal leaving a trail of bread crumbs. They refused to wait for anyone and would race by you and jump in front so you now have 2 groups to wait for. I saw them do this to other groups as well. They were just jumping on and off holes at will which messed up the flow and caused backups for everyone but them . They clearly didn't care about golf etiquette
Nice layout.
The course has some great holes, but the greens are a little bit below par.
