About
Cypress Head, an Arthur Hills design, is a blend of holes and styles, a layout of two distinct nines that impress players through different means. At 6,805 yards from the tournament tees, the course is not a beast (there are three alternative sets to choose from).
The first nine is the highlight at Cypress Head. These holes take on a variety of shapes and strategies with little repetition.
It features multi-tiered undulating greens and preserved wetlands with water coming into play on 14 of the 18 holes. The 14th hole is a 478-yard par 4 over water that comes into play off the tee as well as the second shot to the multi tiered green.
The Golf Club also features a lighted driving range and practice facility. Two practice putting greens, a target green and sand bunkers for honing your skills before taking on the challenges of the course
With its' superb conditions and beautiful wetlands setting, Cypress Head is a public club that offers a private and tranquil experience.

Another Great Round at Cypress Head
Had a great time today! I regularly practice at this course. Starter got us out early. Conditions were great. Would definitely recommend and will play again!
hot hot hot
played one of favourite courses today, but ended up abondoning the round with 4 holes to go. temperratures in the high 80's then torrential rain.
course was in excellent shape
Great for the price!
Always enjoy the layout at Cypress Head. The tee boxes and greens were in overall good condition as well as most of the fairways. A few fairways had bare spots were it looked like fungus and/or weeds had been treated and were still growing in. Bunkers all well maintained. Pace of play was good despite being a holiday.

Pace of play was average for a sunday afternoon. Greens and most fairways are in good condition. Some fairways were a little wet due to heavy rains two days earlier.
Lots of water
Warm day. Short and long holes. Something for everyone
Cart path only
Had to cancel once we got to the course as we were advised at pro shop that course was soaked cart path only
Would have been nice if we could have been forewarned
Very nice shape great layout
Greens 90,% recovered from drilling. Other than some wet spots the course was in great condition. Love the layout. Skins game with best golf buddy done in 3 hours. Best choice this side of town Venetian and Spruce are a mess.
Great layout
Some of the greens have areas missing grass. They still roll nicely but something to watch.
Relieving Dorian Stress
My brother in law and I decided to go play golf after watching Ground Hog Dorian on tv Saturday that sucker should be penalized for slow play.
We got to the course a little early and were allowed to tee off as we requested.
The course was in great condition, fairways, greens and tee boxes.
We cruised through the front nine. With all the cars in the lot we figured they must’ve teed off pretty early. We hadn’t seen anyone else. We started around 8:25.
We were playing faster than Dorian was moving and hit a wall on 10. 11 had three groups on it as did 13. The wind was picking up and 14’s tee shot was dead into the teeth of the wind. We were waiting for the group ahead to tee off who was waiting on the group ahead of them to hit their second. Who was waiting......You get the idea.
We had decided to play until we didn’t want to anymore and that seemed the perfect time to drive back in.
So the round stayed a pleasant memory as I had parred 6 of the 13 and was playing pretty well. Always like the course at Cypress Head. And didn’t have to grind thru the final holes that always kick my butt.
Fun course
The layout is great. Fun course with some challange. Greeans were punched a bit ago still not 100% but good enough to not completely interfere.
Challenging but fair
Nice track keeps you focus on each shot. Greens were punched and are still coming back which impact putting.
