About
Cypress Head, an Arthur Hills design, is a blend of holes and styles, a layout of two distinct nines that impress players through different means. At 6,805 yards from the tournament tees, the course is not a beast (there are three alternative sets to choose from).
The first nine is the highlight at Cypress Head. These holes take on a variety of shapes and strategies with little repetition.
It features multi-tiered undulating greens and preserved wetlands with water coming into play on 14 of the 18 holes. The 14th hole is a 478-yard par 4 over water that comes into play off the tee as well as the second shot to the multi tiered green.
The Golf Club also features a lighted driving range and practice facility. Two practice putting greens, a target green and sand bunkers for honing your skills before taking on the challenges of the course
With its' superb conditions and beautiful wetlands setting, Cypress Head is a public club that offers a private and tranquil experience.

Excellent course
Course in great condition. Slow play was an issue.
Nice course
Very nice course,in good condition and well worth the money. I was the first one on in the morning so I was able to play at my own pace.
Challenging & fun course with new greens
Course had recently re-opened after being closed to install new greens and some other improvements. Layout is still the same and has some fun holes. Not a long course from white tees, and has some reachable par 4's and 5's. Clubhouse and restaurant were also extensively renovated.
Good course to play
Enjoyed the round. The is enough sand, water and trees to provide a challenge. The greens were cut a little long but rolled true.
This course has everything!
Cypress Head is in excellent shape since re-opening.
The course offers the best variety of play out of any of the other nearby courses. Fairways and greens were perfect. A course you'll want to play again.

Quite a treat
I've lived in Orlando for over 20 years and had never heard of this place, but was so pleasantly surprised by how fun of a track it was.
It was closed for 6 months to re-sod, restore greens and bunkers to original designs, etc. We had the pleasure of playing just before it re-opened to the public.
I liked it a lot. Fun to play, a good smattering of holes, especially the par 3s and it was a great laid-back atmosphere. It was only an hour from my house and I'll absolutely play there again. Soon.
Great Imrovements
Cypress Head has been newly renovated and it shows. The course is in excellent shape. New tee boxes, wonderful new greens. The greens are a little slow, but that's to be expected due to their newness.; they are consistent and that is wonderful.
The staff was awesome. They gave me the option to pair up or go off on my own. I played in the afternoon after a ladies scramble, and they got me on the course as soon as it was possible. Very friendly and helpful!
I highly recommend this newly renovated course. The greens fees were more than fair. Beautiful experience all around. You could tell the staff really cared about you. Thanks!
Playing the newly revamped course
This was the first weekend this course has been open since they started the work on it 6 months ago. The reworked the greens, driving range and bought new golf carts. It is a great course to play, and from the longer tee locations it can be very challenging. The greens roll true, but are still a lttle slow. Overall, the course is in very good condition and a great value for the money.
Great course!
First time playing since they reopened the course. Fairways are in excellent condition, greens are in excellent condition. They didn't change the layout much. The bunkers are extremely nice, sand is top quality! Looking forward to coming back and playing again.

Very reasonable rates and course was beautiful to play and view.
Great golf day with challenging course
Enjoyed the course immensely. Course played well and fast. Greens were great, fairways well maintained, some tee boxes need maintenance as well as the sand traps. However, course is closing in 2 weeks for 6 months for major reno, so maintenance not a major priority.

It has been a number of years since last playing Cypress Head. Enjoyed the challenge. Course mgmt is crucial playing this course. Will be back soon to see what I learned. All of my golf mates enjoyed the course also.
lots of water, narrow, definitely a shot makers course
This course may be above my pay grade. It was tight, with quite a bit of water, traversing thru a lovely community, in a rural setting. Very little forgiveness on the backside of greens if your approach shot is long. Greens were in in good shape, fast and true.
Great course just outside of Davtona Beach
The course was in great shape and was very challenging. The pace of play was extremely slow on the front nine. Several of the golfers dropped off at the turn and the pace picked up.
The course is well worth the price. We will come back and play it again.
Great course.
Arrived earlier than my tee time but was immediately paired up. Play was a little slow due to amount of people on course. But course was in excellent shape. Although didn't use it this time, nice to know this is one of the few courses in area that offers a military discount.
