Same ol Saints GC
The greens were in decent shape. Parts of the course were closed all summer long due to supposedly repairing the drainage issue. Idk what they did all summer but it certainly didn’t help one bit. If it rains a day or two before your tee time, be prepared to walk in sludge throughout parts of the fairway and possibly losing high flying balls plugged in the fairway.
Nice course
Course is only open for nine holes but is in good shape. Very nice people running the place. We will play again when course fully opens.
Nope
Ended up not playing because they only had 9 holes when I paid for 18, also construction was being done at the time
Disappointment
I understand they are fixing the drainage problems but the maintenance crew must of got fired because the course is in bad shape. Being very neglected. Also if the pace of play is supposed to be 4 hrs which would mean 2 hrs per 9 holes why would you keep sending groups out in front of the group coming off the first 9. Better management is definitely needed.
Nice layout and forgiving
Second time I played this course. The people who work there are very nice. Unfortunately the back nine is closed until about January. I’m looking forward to playing the whole course
Good place to start
We hadn’t played golf more than two times all summer. Decided to try a cheaper corse to see how we would do. The price was right I read that the course was being redone on the back nine so we played the front nine twice. No problem. After the sixth hole we invited a younger group that was behind us. We had a lot of time to talk on the Teebox, because of the slow pace of play. Overall, the price is right for our style of golf and we had a nice day, but very slow.
Front 9 now open
Back nine closed. Front nine now open. Slow pace as usual in early morning
Course update
They closed months ago to do updates to the drainage and practice areas. Unfortunately not much has changed. There are still super wet areas even with minimal rainfall and now the practice range isn’t available for use. They should have left it the way it was
Fantastic Local Course
I’ve played here about 10 times now and always love it! Great course, awesome price, and fantastic employees. I always enjoy coming here whether to chip and putt or play a full 18.
The Saints
It was cart path only and it was WET. GREENS GREAT
9 Hole Bottle Neck Disaster
With only nine holes open, when I T off at 1 PM, there was a threesome coming off the green at 18 and wanted to play ahead of us, even though we’ve gotten to the Teebox first. I didn’t want to cause an argument or fight over it, but I thought it was very rude of these other players and I think a Rangers should be at the 10th hole Teebox to coordinate new golfers coming on to play the first nine and existing golfers who are planning to play the same nine holes second time.
A few hiccups
It’s a shame the Golf Now site did not put out a disclaimer saying that in order to play 18 holes you had to play the same 9 twice; because of renovations.. they also did not have water in one of the coolers on the course and the other cooler had no cups; luckily we had our own water with us. Other than that not too bad of a course to play albeit on the short side from the blue tees.
