Typical county course
Course in good shape. Staff is very friendly. They need to do a better job of putting out foursomes. You have a twosome stuck in between foursomes and this messes up the pace of play. The last four times I have played there I have not seen a Marshall so pace of play isn’t very good. Course worth playing. Just expect to take around 4 1/2 hours or longer to play.
Nice Course
Course was in ok shape. This early in the season, alot of bare spots on the tees and fairways. Greens were fast.
Pace of play was good.
The Saints
Price was excellent thru Golfnow. My husband and I were put with another couple. We enjoy meeting new golfers and they were wonderful to golf with. The round took 4 hours and 40 minutes so obviously it was slow out on the course. We have golfed there before and look forward to returning.
Top course
The greens and fairways were in great conditions despite the heat and dry weather. Just the right challenge.
Great layout
Course was in great shape, staff was excellent and got out on time !
Good public course
Value at a decent price nice layout good for all levels of players
Very nice course, staff was great. Had a slow group in front of us which held us up on a few holes but nothing crazy.
I would absolutely recommend this course👍
Slow play and early closing ruined a good days golf
We arrived as a four ball for a tee time at 2 pm booked through Golf Now. It was caotic at the starters hut as the ply was running late and the office/system had accepted a two ball booking which was not on the starters sheet........so they were trying to 'fit them in'!
The pace of play was so slow by the end of 9 holes we were 54 minutes behind a scheduled 4 hour round. At 430 we started to get messages saying the carts had to be back by 545! We couldn't have played 18 holes even if the round had been 4 hours. So we ended up having to drive in after only 13 holes. It says on the website the course is open latr than 545 but presumably thats only for walkers?
The course was in resonable conditions - the greens really good and fast - just a pity about the slow play and early closing..........
Forced off the course before dusk
The course itself if fine. It's just like a thousand other Florida courses. But the real problem is that we had a 2 pm tee-off and thought we'd have until dusk at 6:15 to finish the round, only to be told in the pro-shop and then again by the starter that the cart had to be back by 5:45, no exceptions. This is the first time anywhere I've heard of this. It is a very busy course and we were literally rushing ever single shot to try to get the round in. But of course you're only as fast as the all the groups ahead of you. In the end we were chased off the course by incoming stormy weather but we would not have finished regardless. When I asked the starter, if we happened to be starting 18 at 5:45 could we play the hole, he said NO! "We are all volunteers out here and want to get home." Exact quote. So the course should either pay staff to stay late or figure something out. OR, at the very least inform golfers when they are booking that they might not be able to finish an afternoon round because the carts need to be returned.
Nice course, friendly staff.
We enjoyed a nice day on the course, paired up with a couple other players, so we had a foursome. Two singles were sent out separately right behind us. The course is somewhat challenging with several bunkers.
I am disappointed with the cost of some of the drinks at the Bar & Grill. $8 for a seltzer is a bit extreme.
Nice course And good value
This course is a notch above other similar priced courses in the area .Greens are in good shape as are the fairways.which are wide and forgiving. My only negative is the slow play. This could easily be corrected by providing a ranger to keep things moving along. It took us slightly over 4 hours to play 18 holes at the end of the day. A lot of time was wasted standing around waitin for players in front of us to finish.
Great course off season
Pace of play was awful. Five hour round. Fast greens in good condition. Sandy tee boxes. Fairways need a bit of care. Course is basically fun and good to play when not in season
Pace of play
A significant improvement from the last time I played here.
