Missed seeing the starter named Gus or was he the ranger what a outstanding person
Not bad
Played on a Saturday afternoon. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Driving range and putting green are good. Course is decent shape. Tee boxes are ok, fairways are good and greens are good as well. Whoever on these reviews says the greens are fast has never played fast greens. These greens are not fast at all. Course layout is pretty bland. Very plain and no character. Pace of play was good. Played 16 of 18 due to rain. Tried playing 17 after the rain and the greens had puddles. Course doesn't take water very well. Will play again but not a Course I will go out my way to play. Much much better courses around at the same price. Will recommend as a last resort type course.
Good price
It was an okay course with challenging holes, rough was super thick.
Greens were fast, only issue with people was another golfer in front of us playing 3 balls and then confronted our group regarding playing and waiting for the Sandhills Cranes to get out of the way - which slowed pace of play significantly.
Added Fees
Everything was great except we had to purchase an extra cart for $20 since we had 3 golfers and they expect you to double up? Trident does not do this. The round of golf should come with a cart for each golfer and they had plenty of carts. The staff there though is FANTASTIC. We had a great time. We will definitely go back and just have to keep paying the extra $20 fee
Rough was tough to hit out of, lost a couple balls in deep stuff. Greens were firm and fast
Nice open course but challenging
I’ve lived here for over 30 years. Knew the course was there. We will play more often. Condition of the the course and the staff were great.

Nice municipal course
The course is always in good shape and the greens are decent. Pace of play can be a problem sometimes especially early
Single player
The course is great for a muni, but if you are a single player, you cannot book in advance for earlier tee times before 11am.
Do not waste money on membership because you still cannot book a single before 11am. You have to be a walk-in.
This policy is listed anywhere online and they forgot to mention this when in signed up for the membership.

Guardian course
Every green and flag where guarded by bunkers. Very challenging and well kept. I would like to come back in the winter and give it another shot when I don't ha e to battle the blazing July sun
Awesome track!
This course is awesome and the greens are getting better every year! It can be extremely challenging if you get off line, so bring your best stuff. Plenty of fun out there!

Course is in excellent shape, greens are fabulous!
Only short coming was the no cart girl till almost 11:00, not the smartest business move to do in a holiday!
