The Saints At Port St Lucie

Great course overall. Keep coming back and it continues to stand out for the price and for the overall course conditions compared to other local courses. However, I have had one extremely rude encounter with a staff member that works here. I was chipping on the putting green (little bump and runs, nothing crazy). I always do small chip and runs, plenty of staff have seen me do it in the past few months and never a single one of them came up to me and said to not do it. One day, I was confronted by a staff member and he said you cannot chip on the putting green. And by the way, there is no sign that says putting green, nobody was on the green at the time (or using it), and it was making zero indents into the green. I ended up leaving. Very rude, he was an older guy, but nonetheless, that should not be tolerated. I was doing absolutely nothing wrong.

This course is pretty average. The condition of the course was OK, at least the bunkers are filled, unlike some other local courses. The price is great for this course though. Great off-course amenities as well.

I can't say I LOVE the course, but it is decent.

Nice course with an easy layout and great greens. Greens were rolling fantastic, however they are going to be punched beginning 7/12 so be aware!

Course was good. Fun little course but conditions on each hole were hit or miss. Gave it 4 stars because of the great prices.

We live right down the street from The Saints, and it has always had the friendliest staff. It is a challenging course.

Overall it's a nice course, fairly simple layout, not a whole lot of trouble, which is why I still can't grasp why pace is so slow, we waited on every single shot! My only guess would be that the rough was a little long, i even lost 3 balls that were well in play but I just couldn't find in thick stuff, and i had a real good idea exactly where they landed. Not a lot of water or trouble shots so it's not like everyone is taking drops or anything, just really slow! In my opinion the fairways are cut just a hair too short, lot of pretty thin lies, not much along the lines of a nice, cushy lie! Course was pretty soggy, we did have rain this day and for most days of the past 2 weeks. Not sure if that affects their maintenance or not, but oh well! So, after all that complaining I'm sure i will be playing there again!

I had a 7:27Tee Time to start. I got there around 6:45 to hit some balls on the range. I went inside to check in and paid got a token for range. Then the pro shop employee says will try and get you out today. I responded back what do you mean I have a tee time at 7:27He said oh we do not put single golfers out. He said I have to call Golfnow and remind them. The cart guy said you can go out now and play with this threesome but ya gotta go now. I said what is the point of making a tee time then. I have never had an issue here or anywhere else before. He said oh ya sorry but we dont let singles out here is a range token for next time. I went up to starter and saw my name for 7:27 single it was between two foursomes who I assume were regulars maybe. The bag guy was trying to tell her that I have a tee time. She said I see someone here 7:27. I told her ya thats me!!!!! She then says well you guys move aside I have to check these other guys in. I told her dont worry im going back to shop for my refund!!!!!!!!! The cart guy was trying to help me other than that no one else was. Oh the pro shop employee if I did not go out right now I would have to wait till after 12. What!!!!!!!! I never had an issue anywhere booking a single tee time ANYWHERE. I got my refund and left there and will never go back to that course again. I have the range token back and told them I will never come back here again. The employee then says .Well good luck finding somewhere else to play on a Friday morning. I called another course and got in right away Single Golfer!!!!!!! I got paired up with another golfer and had a good round. The Saints in Port St Lucie lost a customer today and I will never go back to that course. There are plenty of other courses here in South Florida I can play at.
