About
This Treasure Coast golfing jewel embraces the traditional values of golf course architecture emphasizing shot value, variety and dramatic effect. Meandering through an 800 home residential community, St James offers 4 sets of tees for individual playing ability and a challenging round for all levels. The 6800 yard, par 72 design features 64 dramatic bunkers and 17 water hazards. The club also offers a state-of-the-art practice facility, with natural grass tee, simulated fairway bunker and dedicated short game area with putting green.

Was not informed of the conditions on putting greens
This pass Wednesday, February 16th 2021 I invited some from friends ( 2 ) who came a long way and I was very disappointed that I was not informed of the putting greens surface ( lots of sand , could not putt) I paid for us 3 but I felt I didn’t get my monies worth. I hope next time someone would let me know in advance the conditions. Of the course . Not a happy golfer right now . I booked the tee time through GolfNow

Great Course
Course was a very nice surprise. Good condition. Played on a Monday, so not too crowded so pace of play was excellent. Finished 18 in under 4 hours. Challenging and interesting holes, but forgiving enough that you're not overly punished for missing a fairway. Enjoyed my round, and will definitely be back.

Nice Course
Very friendly starter from Canada - Prices are a little high for the condition but my wife and I had a good day. Windy - Will be back Thursday with my friends.

Perfect weather - Crowded Course
Course is worn out looking - Second time playing this week and it is completely full. Need to sell less tee times, It took us 4:25 minutes to play 18 holes . Sandwiches are very good - Hardworking lady in the bar serving 5 at a time and making great sandwiches.
Overall - It was a great day - I recommend playing here

Rough Shape
Not much turf in the fairways. You can tell they don’t spend much money. Too bad because the layout is pretty good. Not worth your time or money as there’s too many good courses nearby.
Bad condition
TEE box horrible on 1st nine
No grass on fairways completely dry very poor condition

Loved the links layout and the
Loved the layout and wide open fairways. Some holes just had a very nice view from the tee box! The greens on the front 9 were very damaged but the back greens were better. A great layout, wide open and little trouble from water…although there were quite a few sand traps. The sand traps had wonderful soft white sand in them. New cement cart paths on a perfectly designed trail to each hole. The course score card has great pictures of each hole, helpful for the first time player. Clean restrooms. We really enjoyed playing here and look forward to going back!

Cow Pasture
My sons and I haven't played St. James in about two years. It used to be a very challenging layout in top condition with excellent greens. I have no idea what happened to the course, but it now represents a cow pasture with burned out fairways, ill-kempt sand traps, and some of the worst greens on the Treasure Coast. At least half of the greens had very large burned-out or fungus-infected areas, sod patches that have failed to take properly, and even bare dirt. Tee boxes were a joke. A complete disappointment. Management should warn golfers about the horrible conditions and/or drastically reduce their prices.

Course needs lots of TLC
Fairways are very brown and the greens are artificially colored green with lots of bad spots.

Golfed here several times and course not in good shape. Greens painted to cover up poor condition.
