About
This Treasure Coast golfing jewel embraces the traditional values of golf course architecture emphasizing shot value, variety and dramatic effect. Meandering through an 800 home residential community, St James offers 4 sets of tees for individual playing ability and a challenging round for all levels. The 6700 yard, par 72 design features 64 dramatic bunkers and 17 water hazards. The club also offers a state-of-the-art practice facility, with natural grass tee, simulated fairway bunker and dedicated short game area with putting green.

Slow pace of play.
Played well for pace of play greens very fast but 5 hours start to finish. We
waited on every hole. No ranger in site all day. Not in a hurry great course.

Tough greens
Overall, the course was good and challenging. The fairways were very dry and hard. Taking divots was difficult and led to a lot of "topped" shots.

Best conditions in the area
We played Champions Turf Club for the first time in two years, and were pleasantly surprised by the conditions. Fairways and greens are in great shape for this time of year. My new favorite in the area.

The course is in good shape overall, but the greens are in need of new growth. The layout makes it challenging.
