took a friend visiting to California get to course and club house slash bar was not much to look at but once you got out on practice facilities and golf course then you felt like you were at a top notch course well maintained good greens and tee boxes and visually stimulating would play again
Great Track
The Greens, Fairways and Bunkers are in great shape!
Very large and fast greens! They may have been redone recently as they didn't hold that well, but it is a Great track to play when you are in Port St Lucie.
Great improvement
Course was a disaster 2 yrs ago new management has done fantastic will be going there often
BEst course in Florida so far
GReens are tough. VEry fast and hard to 1 putt. STaff is helpful and very friendly. COurse is fun and has a good layout.
Good course for the money
The course has undergone some improvements including their second try at new greens. Greens are still very hard and not receptive however are fast and do roll true. Look forward to seeing how much better this course gets in the future.
Nice Course!
Crowded on the First Tee. 1-5 played slow. The greens were fast an it was windy so play was slow. Ended up finishing in 4:15 Min as the back 9 plays faster than the front.
Great homemade sandwiches full bar and large beer selection.
Course layout is wide open with greens that roll almost too fast. Range is very big with chipping green & Sand bunkers.
I recommend playing here - Casual & good quality.
Rangers
Ranger did a good job. There was a group he talked to who had very poor cart etiquette. Driving on Par 3's and close to the green. I see that they gave a 2 star review. Its unfair to break the rules and then complain when approached. I know the ranger to be very good at keeping pace and polity asking players to respect the course.
Nice Course -Condescending Ranger ruined day!
The course is in nice shape and the greens are perfect. Not as fast as expected. Our group is mostly in their 70"s so we always book a later tee time not to slow anyone down. We teed off at 11:00. The threesome in front of us lost us on the 4th hole and we never saw anyone behind us except on the first tee. On the 7th hole the ranger came up to us and told us to speed it up because we were at a 2hr 10 min pace for the first nine. Fine, big deal. After nine we stopped briefly to get a hot dog to bring with us for the back nine. Teed off within 5 minutes. Walking off the green we could see the group behind of us just teeing off. We never saw them again. The ranger came up to us again on the 12th hole and said in such a condescending tone that he told us to pick it but now we are 3 holes behind the group in front of us and we had better speed up. We play at a relaxing pace and always step it up when people are behind us, but there was no one. We finished in 4 hrs 10 min. Being pushed like this for no reason and his attitude will keep my from playing here again. There are plenty of friendly courses out there that want you to enjoy yourself.
Great shape and great value
Course was in great shape. Greens were fast and staff very friendly
This is a must play course
I decided to book based on recent reviews. The course is in awesome shape and the greens are some of the best I have ever played. Fast and challenging, but not unfair.
I am a 2.6 hdp and played from back tees and provided ample challenge and fun. Will definitely play here again when in the area.
Regular PSL Golfer
I live and play at the CTC -St James Club. Hands down best layout & best greens in the area. Friendly staff & customers.
Amazing Greens!!! Best course in town for the value
Played on a Saturday weather was perfect. Staff was friendly and courteous. There were many golfers out that day but pace was respectable with a 4 hour 10 minute round. Layout is quiet different with 3 par 3s 3 par 5s and 3 par 4s on back nine. We will b back to play again soon!!!
Pleasantly Surprised
I found a deal for $35. My friends were skeptical as they envisioned that the course condition would reflect in the low price. We were blown away by the course conditions. We had fun teasing my friend who belongs to a private club with much slower greens. These were very fast.
I highly recommend this course.
Best Greens for putting-Worst Everything Else
The one good thing about this course is that these are the best putting surfaces to put on. HOWEVER........
The collars are so soft and the greens so hard to hold it makes it impossible to get close to front pins.
The entire course needs repair. Many bare spots.
Boring layout (two of the par 5`s look and play the same and 3 of the par 3`s look and play the same.
They closed the on course bathroom at 4pm and the clubhouse closed before 5. If you can pay $10 to just go practice your putting, do it...otherwise don`t waste your $$
One of the best
Course was wide open especially if you don't hit the ball straight greens were about 11 on this st. meter very very fast and true. Fairways in great shape . Rough almost none
Super nice greens
While the greens were nice the overall condition was so so. Sand bunkers I would not rate consistent and the layout was nice and a fair test. What I found disappointing was the clubhouse was closed at 5:00pm and no restroom or bar available and it doesn't get dark until 7:30?
Great greens
If the pace of play was as well kept as the greens, I would highly recommend this course for the money. This was my 3rd try during the season and will not go back in season due to the slow play. Biggest issue is that there were few on the course but the staff is lack at moving the slow players.
Green delight
Course is in good condition and the greens are the smoothest and quickest I have played this year.
I disagree with your assessment of the layout - I play here all the time and can't figure out which par 3's & 5's your talking about.
