About
The beautifully manicured, par-72 Renaissance Golf Course features two distinctive nines. The front nine has an open links feel to it with wide fairways and greens that will accept bump-and-run approach shots. The back nine requires more accuracy from tee to green as it meanders through a large conservation area. Water comes into play on every hole on the inward nine on this course designed by Chip Powell. Most fairways are lined with stately pines and ancient oaks. The greens at the Renaissance Golf Club are a pleasure to putt. These TifEagle Bermuda grass putting surfaces are state-of-the-art and roll fast.

Very Slow Play
Great course where I used to be a member. Love it, great stafff and layout. However, yesteday when I paid for 18 holes, the pace of play for the front nine was about 3 hours given there was a group of students getting lessons in front our group. This prohibited us from fiinishing 18 holes.
Great round on an enjoyable course
Check in was simple, nice carts, friendly staff. They had rangers out which helped keep pace of play. Course was in pretty good shape, but greens were somewhat slow. Local knowledge would be helpful with ball placement on some holes. Enjoyed returning here for another round.
Best Course in the Wimauma Area
Great course, great staff, great facailities. I have nothing but "great" to say about this course.

Pace of play was over 5 hours, but course was packed. We were a two-some because the other couple didn’t show. We will return again.
Horrible shape, no range, no beverage carts!!
Got to the pro shops and found out no range. Also was told it’s a club, the members don’t want beverage carts. Stag behind counter told me she played the course 3 days ago and said course was in great shape. lol that’s a joke. Greens were sanded horribly. Fairways have so much fungus. Rough is not rough at all. It’s lots of dry spots, sand, and fungus weeds, very inconsistent to

Played this course many times. Staff is always great. Course is challenging but fair. I highly recommend it.

GOOD LAYOUT. FAIRWAYS WERE NICE EVEN HAD A LITTLE ROUGH. GREENS WERE IN GOOD SHAPE AND QUICK. NO DRIVING OR CHIPPING AREA.

Slow
We were on the course for 1.5 hrs and were on the fourth tee behind 2 groups
There was a worker spreading chemicals on the cours so we drov to the clubhouse explained what happened and they issued us rain checks. The lady that issued the rain checks was very polite and clearly understood our situation
Nice layout
Great reception in pro shop and starter on 1st tee. Tee times were on time and we took almost 4.5 hours with very little waiting. Fairways were very dry and thin grass which made the course play shorter than normal. Greens were also firm and were recently top dressed, so no stopping the ball on them. I will play again.
Reviews were mixed but course in bad shape
No aeration but sanded greens for some reason. Course was dry somehow despite tons of rain recently. Bare lies everywhere, tight dry fairways and crabgrass throughout the rough which was grabbing and twisting the club head at impact. Some spots couldn’t tell difference between the fairway and rough. Very surprised ppl were giving it positive reviews recently just overall very disappointing bc its a great layout

Great Round
I don’t know where other reviewers played. Great High Season Value for Winter Round. Excellent Course Condition. We enjoyed our afternoon round. Firm short grass fairways. Every fairway in full coverage fine grass. Nicely manicured Greens rolled true, only one green had a 3’ patch.. Great people around pro shop, cart barn, bar. Residential Course but homes did not intrude onto course. Noon start, no waiting on any tee. Exceeded expectations. Other reviewer must be trippin’
