The Club Renaissance

Course was just ok . Greens were bumpy and a bit slow . Worst part of the round was being accosted with very vulgar language from a home owner / golf course member who thought we were driving on his grass but we were not . My wife was disgusted and a bit taken aback by his language . Worst experience ever while on vacation . This course is definitely off our list to play and will share this experience with friends and family . Tried to contact the director of golf , Paul but no response yet . Lots of courses out there to play so avoid this one . If you do play watch out for the troll on hole #7 sitting in his back yard waiting for you to stray off the cart path .

The course was in great shape.Staff extremely friendly. Food service did not answer the phone, had to wait for food. The food was good>

Sunday with the boys. Teed off at 11 am. The course was crowded but we encountered no delays. The course was in great shape. Greens were consistent and fair. The front 9 is wide open but the back 9 required lots of good shots. We plan to play here again soon. We had lunch at the Renaissance restaurant and the food and service were excellent. The clubhouse was over the top nice.

Course was in great shape. Despite the recent heavy rains only one hole was cart path only. Greens were fast and consistent. No issues with pace of play. It was 94+ but the course had water and ice at various locations. We teed off at 10:15 am and finished at 1:30. We then had lunch at the Renaissance restaurant, Artinis. The place was over the top nice and the food was good and inexpensive. We are definitely coming back.

We drove an hour to play a Clublink course because back home they are known for premium courses. Worst Clublink course we have played anywhere! Not worth the drive. No wonder the cheap price. Layout was average but course conditions were terrible - fairway were long and shaggy or burned out and bare in areas, just like the tee decks and the greens were aerated with the large holes, little sand and all kinds of damage on the greens. Not puttable and awful to chip on. A few days ago, we played another course in Port Charlotte that was punched recently too and the couse conditions were good and greens were puttable. Wish we had gone there again instead.

When I pulled up the starter brought a cart to my car. He asked my tee time. My two friends texted me that they were running late. There was a large group of members waiting to go out behind us. The starter asked the group of at least 5 foursomes to please wait 5 minutes. My friends finally arrived and we teed off. There were no delays and the course was in awesome shape. The greens were consistent and there was water and ice machines located on both front and back 9. We had lunch in the restaurant and the food and service were very good. We will definitely come back.

Very playable. Fairways and greens in great shape. Lots of water but not an issue just lol at your hole map before you take your shot. Plenty of tee up positions. All around good set up:

First time playing here. Fairways for most of this course are wide open and easy to hit. Every hole hasn’t water in play. Every hole has pretty strategic bunkers placed throughout. The bunkers are beach sand so, good luck. Not a long course, but very fun. Greens had just been aerated so that was a bummer, but they still rolled decent.

It was a wonderful day weather-wise. Course conditions were excellent--they put in new fairways last summer. We had a great time!

Challenging course with lots of trouble If you get off the fairway

Turned up on the worst day weather wise on our trip competitions had been cancelled in the morning because of rain and wind we were asked if we were still going to play(fine day for us from Scotland),We were not disappointed great course which we had to ourselves,great day would certainly play again,many thanks to the staff

I played this course 3 years ago and thought it was just ok.

Since then they have reseeded the whole course and it was in great shape. Fairways where firm and lush and the greens where smooth and fast .

Had to be a 10 on the meter.

Highly recommend this to all handicappers as the fairways are wide and the ball keeps on rolling..

be careful with golf now booking . it's including with practice balls and none alcohol beverage on the booking website . but there's none of these in the final booking information . i had to drive 1.5 miles to the driving range and they made me pay for the range balls . i tried to call golf now and I was left holding for 10 minutes and after I choose to be called back, nobody called me . i confirmed the driving balls with the guys playing with me because they booked through golf now too.
