About
The beautifully manicured, par-72 Renaissance Golf Course features two distinctive nines. The front nine has an open links feel to it with wide fairways and greens that will accept bump-and-run approach shots. The back nine requires more accuracy from tee to green as it meanders through a large conservation area. Water comes into play on every hole on the inward nine on this course designed by Chip Powell. Most fairways are lined with stately pines and ancient oaks. The greens at the Renaissance Golf Club are a pleasure to putt. These TifEagle Bermuda grass putting surfaces are state-of-the-art and roll fast.

I liked it!
Played tips and found it challenging mainly due to very windy conditions. Overall course was well maintained, greens were decent and average size with little undulations. Great lies in fairways and ruffs were manageable. POP was the best part of the course. 78 degrees, sunny and did not see another golfer on the whole course. Crazy nice club house and $3 beers - NICE! Play it and enjoy, don't fret over the $59.00 as it is close to worth the money.
Club Ren is Back
Course is in good shape, which is normal. $59 round may be on the steep side though. Staff is great. Just a good day of golf. I'll be back when I can get a hotdeal or have some coupons to burn.
Don't waste your money.
Course is no where close to being worth the money they want to play it.
I wouldn't play it unless you can get it for less than 20$. The layouts unoriginal; fringe around the green is in need of repair/growth; rough is well ... "rough"; no gps in the cart (at this price?? really?); No Range at the course??? (again, really?), etc. etc.
The only positive I could mention is that they had decent COVID measures in place.
No email about canceling
This would have been our 2nd time, but was cancelled close to tee time, with no warning or email about

Luckily we called just before our 40 min ride to the course and the generic tee time operator said the course
was closed. No # for the pro shop available. (Dumb)

The course was closed due to social distancing and coronavirus prevention.
Great Golf
Few blemishes on a couple greens, but overall best course we have played yet!
Would highly recommend.
Great day at Club Ren!
The fairways and greens are in great shape. We played in about 3 and a half hours, which was great. We love the course... we played it last fall, and now that the rates are starting to drop, I'm sure we'll play it again a few times in the next couple of months.
Fun layout, great condition
I thought the course was in great shape compared to other public courses I’ve played in Florida. Interesting layout and fast greens. I’ll be playing here again.
Fun Golf Course
My husband and I just played this golf course. Fun course with lots of characters and birdie opportunities. The golf course is in excellent condition, staffs were super friendly , pace of play is good. We will be back for sure.
Fantastic day in the links
Played the course today with a threesome visiting from Buffalo. Had a great day with good guys on a wonderfully manicured course. Every tee box, fairway and green was in excellent condition. Many courses In the area have thin fairways with spotted bear patches this time of year or a green or two with blemishes or inconsistencies. Club Renaissance was A-1 tee to green on all 18. The drive from St Pete was well worth it and I’ll be back next time with friends!
Great course
Course was in great condition and we finished in 3 /12 hours. Best course I’ve played in this area. I highly recommend!
Very playable and for for all levels.
Well kept most times. The conditioning was very good. Greens perfect. Staff has always been very friendly. Pace of play was great.
Enyoable golf
My wife and I are from Sweden on holiday and We are so happy to have find this golfcourse, which was so fin to play.
Perfect in condition, variation and sorroundings.
Extra thanks to the two gentlemen that shower Up at the parkingplace. They gave us good information about the place and the course.
Had Fun
Been almost a decade since playing here . Lots of new homes.
Lay out the same though and pleasurable course.
Conditions were wonderful and greens rolled true.
Only issue was a foursome few groups ahead road blocking the whole course creating a four hole gap and multiple back ups.
The random twosome playing with us quit after 9 because of pace.
My friend and I have committed to returning but perhaps earlier in the day for a better pace experience.
Beautiful course
Good value for your money. Every hole is different and depending on your tees, level of difficulty. One of the better ones in the area. Have played the course 4 times in the last two weeks and will play it again.
Great experience
Best course I have ever played. Greens are perfect and very fast. Fairways are like carpet and great to hit off I used my free monthly tee time code and was very happy I did I would love to play this course again.
