About
The beautifully manicured, par-72 Renaissance Golf Course features two distinctive nines. The front nine has an open links feel to it with wide fairways and greens that will accept bump-and-run approach shots. The back nine requires more accuracy from tee to green as it meanders through a large conservation area. Water comes into play on every hole on the inward nine on this course designed by Chip Powell. Most fairways are lined with stately pines and ancient oaks. The greens at the Renaissance Golf Club are a pleasure to putt. These TifEagle Bermuda grass putting surfaces are state-of-the-art and roll fast.

Golfer Reviews
Excellent golf course
Great conditions, solid test of golf. Unfortunately, even though the course was WIDE open, the 2-some in front of me ignored me as a single and my 3.5 hour round could have easily been a 2.5 hour round if they just let me play through. They may have been members or it's a Florida thing where it's up to YOU to ask to play through, but I'm not sure, I'm a new resident in FL.
Club Renaissance
The course is very enjoyable and when it began to rain we were offered a rain check
worth the trip
went as a twosome paired up to make 4 ball had great time, course in excellent shape.
I'll be back
One of my top 3 favorite courses(within 50 miles)when a good deal can be had on golfnow. A little pricey otherwise. I am about a 6 handicap, but can shoot anywhere from 70-90 here. Driving the ball well is the key. This day I accomplished that with the exception of 2-3 not so perfect ones, but always had a shot to the green and shot 76. I get really frustrated with a lot of courses where the green speeds are not consistent from hole to hole. This course is much better in that regard, but it does happen. Always one of the best conditioned courses in the area and fun to play. I'll be back.
Well-designed course
My husband and I played this for the first time this week. The guys who greet you and the starter were very friendly and helpful. The course design was challenging and fun. Interesting layout. There was a lot of water but not a lot of bunkers to ruin the enjoyment of the holes. The greens were in good shape but the fairways were not. A major plus is that players were permitted to play as twosomes and not grouped up. The facilities could use some updates and the location of ice/water is strange-- hidden somewhere in the cart garage. Overall, great experience and we look forward to playing there again.
Great Course, interesting layout
This is the second time I've played this course and have enjoyed both rounds. Excellent conditions. You have to pay attention to the grain of the greens. Sneeky fast down grain. The back 9 is tighter than the front, so do your scoring on the front 9.
Mid day golf
Greens were in very good shape The fairways were in good shape. Would definetly play again.
Sun City Gem
The course was in pretty good shape considering the greens were punched a few weeks ago. Fairways and bunkers in good shape. Always enjoy playing this course.
This course has character.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Course was in great shape. It also has several very interesting holes.
Execellent Experince
The Staff was very nice, helpfull and friendly. The course exceeded my expectations and I am looking forward to the next round. I met some wonderful people!
Gotta play this one
I thought the course was in very good shape especially for early Spring. Lots of water and hit straight. Price is not too much for the condition of the course. I had a great day.
Good, not great
Dreadfully slow pace of play. Nobody seemed interested in getting things moving along, but staff was friendly.
Back 9 is more interesting than the front, which is pretty bland. Greens were in good shape but not particularly fast. Not worth the full rack rate but good value at a discounted green fee.
Good Golf, and value for the money
Played from backtee and the course layout and condition was very good, would like to come back and play this course again
Great layout
Enjoyed this club immensely, the greens and fairways were well groomed and lush. Well worth playing multiple times
Average
Greens slow fairways had all different type of grass not very smooth
A favorite
My husband and I like this course very much, but we have to play late afternoon to get a rate that we think the course is worth. The early hours are $25 to $30 more than the afternoon so we are thankful for golf now to be able to get these savings.
