The Club Renaissance
About
The beautifully manicured, par-72 Renaissance Golf Course features two distinctive nines. The front nine has an open links feel to it with wide fairways and greens that will accept bump-and-run approach shots. The back nine requires more accuracy from tee to green as it meanders through a large conservation area. Water comes into play on every hole on the inward nine on this course designed by Chip Powell. Most fairways are lined with stately pines and ancient oaks. The greens at the Renaissance Golf Club are a pleasure to putt. These TifEagle Bermuda grass putting surfaces are state-of-the-art and roll fast.

Excellent course a pleasure to play
One of the best in the area challenging excellent sceneries a pleasure to play the staff is courteous and friendly
Great Day
Great day on an Excellent course, good practice facilities and participated in Ping Demo Days, cant beat that!
Affordable nice tract
Good value for your money. Always in good shape. Greens are not fast, but not stupid slow either. Typical of most courses, people tend not to let you play thru.
Club Renaissance
Outstanding and worth every penny I paid, which rate was extremely fair for February in Florida. Fairways, rough and green in excellent shape. Pace of play also very good. This is an absolutely beautiful course that every golfer needs to experience.
Great Course
This was agreat Course we arrived Early and were looked after by the starters and played Early.
It was a very good experience.
The Course appeared Dry on some of the Fairways but it played well.
Greens in Great condition..
Very nice
A very nice facility, well kept. Houses aren't too close which I always look for. No driving range on premises though, you can use range at nearby club but thats really the only ding on this course. Didn't see too many people out and about
This course doesn't control play.
Renaissance is well maintained and enjoyable to play with one exception. They don't consolidate teams so there were too many twosomes and the 18 holes took around 5 hours to complete. They need to improve that policy before I will play there again.
Good Golf, Great Food
Course is challenging and in very good condition.
We ate dinner after golf and the restaurant was awesome.
We will play and eat here again.
Great course
Course is in great shape. Staff is always friendly. Play was fast. Enjoyable day
perfect conditions, nice layout, completely empty
we started arround 2 p.m. and did not see any other golfers.
the cours is in an awesome condition and we like the course design
Excellent Condition
It always plays fair and the condition was excellent!
Very nice layout good conditions
This facility says well-run Country Club. The front nine was fairly wide open. the bunkers were deep and very nice. There is a premium on approach shots. The back nine was totally different than the front. It was shorter and much tighter. Two very different but well designed nines. I played for $35 which was a steal. There are at least five sets of tees and it will challenge any level of golfer. The fairways would rate an 8. The greens rolled nicely but were a bit sandy. They would rate a 7.5. This is just short of a finely manicured CC but well worth playing. It's a must play for $50 or less.
Would have liked better weather
I played this course with my 24 year-old grandson. We played from the blue tees. It was windy and cold (upper 40's). Course conditions were great, way better than the condition of my game. As a first-timer, I would have appreciated GPS distances, and way more course knowledge. The back 9, although shorter, had a couple of forced carries off the tee that exceeded my skill level at age 72. Would have appreciated bail-out options on those holes, but there were none. Would highly recommend this course to average to above average players. Good value for the money.
Great shape
Lovely course in great shape. Greens a little slow. Matched up with a really nice couple. Good variety of hole designs with some tight and some wide open. Good course for seniors and women also.
This course winds between houses and open fairways
The course was good with a clear track between holes that were sometimes a good distance apart but this added to the feel as you had different vistas to take in while playing
Senior City
Visiting St Pete Beach but looking to golf. Picked this course for price (under $40) and location away from tourist at the beach. This place is definitely a retirement community but the course is great and everyone was extremely nice. I was worried the pace was going to be supper slow but I guess I hit the perfect tee time at 1pm. The starter put me on 10 as a single to avoid me being behind several foursomes of mostly couples and I had a great round. I played earlier in the week at Orlando and this course was by far in the best shape. I am sure pace of play might be an issue at certain times so call ahead and see when it's afternoon nap time for the local Sr. Citizens and I mean that with the utmost of respect. Great course, great price and great people.
Excellent course
I played fron the blue tees and it was a great test. Wide fairways on some fairways others require shot making. Greens were very well maintained and not complicated. A lot of fun and golfers were polite. Good value in the south Tampa area.
nice retirement community track
Not much to say, it was a nice golf course in pretty good shape. Itr was a little more challenging than usual because it was REALLY windy the day I played. If you have never played out there it is worth a try especially at what I paid $32.00.
Well worth the drive if in Tampa area
What a beautiful tract! The greenest /best fairways that we have encountered on our golf trip to Tampa area so far. A very interesting course to play. Excellent value for the money. Ranger Mike took fantastic care of uus when we arrived late for our teetime (as did gal in pro-shop). All staff were very friendly. Highly recommend.
