About
The beautifully manicured, par-72 Renaissance Golf Course features two distinctive nines. The front nine has an open links feel to it with wide fairways and greens that will accept bump-and-run approach shots. The back nine requires more accuracy from tee to green as it meanders through a large conservation area. Water comes into play on every hole on the inward nine on this course designed by Chip Powell. Most fairways are lined with stately pines and ancient oaks. The greens at the Renaissance Golf Club are a pleasure to putt. These TifEagle Bermuda grass putting surfaces are state-of-the-art and roll fast.

Golfer Reviews
On our way home after one week in south FL
After playing the courses in Naples this one was not up to our expectations. It was an easy course to play and fun layout but the conditions could use improvement We enjoyed our lunch after the round.
Great Greens
Picked this course, because of the reviews I had read about it. Went with my golfing partner, for his birthday. Loved the course layout. The par 3, #12 hole, was a work of art, we both parred it. Loved everything about it. Challenging, but also very doable. The only bad thing about the day, was that I reinjured my groin, on the 10th tee. I was able to finish, by slowing down on my swing, with no further damage. It rained on us, for about 5-10 minutes, but the wait, was worth it. The greens were probably the best greens I have played, this season...well groomed and putts were true. I would recommend this course to ANYONE. Low handicappers may not agree with my assesment, but we LOVED IT!
Excellent Course
Had to wait out a small thunderstorm in the Bar, 45 minutes later we teed off to s BEAUTIFUL COURSE. Everyone was friendly and accommodating, good food at bar and a large variety of beer, wide, and spirits. Will Definitely play again
Very Nice
In the 6 months ive lived here, ive played 13 different courses, including the TPC course. This is definitely one of the top 3, and is in better shape than TPC and a way better value. I am a 3 handicap and this course has tees for all levels.
Great course.
Very challenging but fun.
Course has the best drainage after rain.
Great condition, friendly staff and great food!
Surprisingly good, at a great rate
After the weeks of rain we've had recently, I was surprised at the course condition and overall playability. Good layout, very good condition, and an overall great experience. I enjoyed the course. The front 9 is more open than the back, but the entire course is very fair. It's long enough to hit driver on most holes. The par 3s were long (played the tips), but generous greens made them very fair. The greens rolled true and above average speed.
Great course and fast round
This course really surprised me. There were a few issues with greens in bad shape but overall the course was in great shape....a little soggy in spots but otherwise a challenging round of golf. Lots of variety and great use of the terrain. Some narrow tee boxes, followed by forced carries, and blind shots. The course really mixed it up. The greens rolled true and were pretty fast. Definitely would repeat. Pace of play was excellent as well.
Great Value
As an average golfer, I look for lower pricing when booking round of golf. Renaissance green fees are higher than I would pay during season. Seeing the deal for a round at $30, I jumped on it. I've played here in the past with one of these deals and always wanted to play again. It did not disappoint. The only downer was a short shower midway through my first nine, then the sun became powerful in my latter round.
Challenging enough for those of us that are high handicappers, but allow for some par and birdie opportunities.
Overall Good Experience
Nice course thats open on the front nine and resembles a links style course lined with trees on the back nine. Water comes into play on most holes. Generous landing areas and green rolled well even though they were verti-cut earlier in the day.
Pros: Water and ice is available on the course.
Cons: They do not have a driving range; however, players can use a partner driving range that is about 3/4 mile away.
Excellent conditions
Played last Thursday. 35 bucks for fla resident. Wasn't sure what to expect as I drove from tampa. Course was in great shape. Greens were excellent. Tee boxes nice. Even the rough was manicured. Bunkers were all legit with fresh sand. Well maintained throughout. We are picky and just loved the condition.
The Club Renaissance Trip
The course was in really good shape and it was difficult for playing it for the first time. If I were to play it again I would play some holes differently.
Top tier service and course
From the moment I pulled into the parking lot and had a course Marshall behind me with my cart and info I was impressed. Quick and efficient service was not something I had anticipated or expected based on the other players and neighborhood. The course was in great shape And the greens rolled true. Pace of play was adequate, the course has a couple of par 3's in close proximity which forces a slow up, but overall to 3.5 hours to pay the round. The only con was that even showing up 30 minutes early I couldn't swing a bit at the range because it was located too far from the clubhouse.
Overall really enjoyed my morning.
Best Facility in the Area Hands Down!
I went to Club Renaissance the first time oddly enough on the recommendation of an employee at another golf course in the area, which shall remain nameless. My first visit I was impressed by the course condition and lay-out. The staff was also extremely polite and as a single they let me get off 30 minutes prior to my scheduled time. This got me in front of some foursomes and I was able to get 18 holes in in under 3 hours. You can't beat that for a Sunday. Better yet, the layout is great and the fairways and greens are in the best condition of any course I've played in the area. Overall outstanding golf experience. I went back again on the 4th of July, was paired up with another single and still finished 18 holes in 3 hours and 15 minutes. This will undoubtedly be my go-to course from here on out and with the "Hot Deal" from golfnow it's a steal. They could charge $60 a round and people would pay it, but thank goodness they don't. My wallet thanks them. Cheers!
Club Renaissance
We had a 330 teatime late afternoon storms approaching lightning thunder rain got underway after three holes had to stop for the weather to pass . The course was in great shape and I really enjoyed it. I will certainly plan to play there again soon.
One of the best in the south shore
Nice layout and always in great shape. Some challenging holes, good greens, and great fairways.
twosome at Club Renaissance
My wife and I played this course Sunday. The rate we got with GolfNow was excellent and overall we give high marks to the course and club. Notice that we gave pace of play low marks but I must qualify by noting we were a twosome and quickly caught up with a foursome that didn't allow us to play through. We really weren't in a hurry and understood the situation so we just relaxed and enjoyed.
Nice coarse
One of the top 2 golf courses in southern Hillsborough County. Love this place
will play again
very nice and well maintained course...will play again
