Duran Golf Club - Championship Course

Seems poorly managed, or at least they don't care so much about their customers; They had a morning tournament that severely altered the pace of play; Tee-times were bumped forward by approx 30 to 45 mins due to tournament issues - probably also due to "cart path only" rule due to prior rain. Was unable to complete 18 holes, took 3.5 hours to do 9 holes due to extreme slow pace of play; Driving range was closed w/o warning nor prior notification; These things should be revealed (tournament scheduled, range closed) when people call to book tee-time, so they can consider opting for a different course.

The crabgrass is kind of out of hand. Also, a couple of the greens need work especially for the high rates they are charging right now. Traps are nice though. I guess all the winter rain hasn't helped things.

A beautiful course but we almost couldn’t finish the round. Men’s league started on the back and ended up being 20 minutes late teeing off the front after the crossover which delayed our start time. Then we had a foursome in front of us that were very slow and didn’t care how long they made us wait while they practice putted on the green. No Marshall didn’t help.

The layout was excellent and greens were Immaculate.

wonderful course. The staff had a minor issue with the golf now app. looks like we where double charged. other than that a wonderful course. very well kept up and stunning. i found the water more than i liked but that's a me problem:P. would play again.

Great course! The pace of play was so slow & a little frustrating. I was in town visiting family over the holidays & I had to finish the round... I didnt get to finish the first time plaid on the 19th. It took over 5 hours for 18 holes! The course was in great shape & the green were too.

In the recent past, Duran has had a problem with weeds on the tee boxes and in the fairways. They seem to have gotten this under control, and the course looks much nicer. The main problem with Duran is the greens. They are pretty soft, so balls make really deep ball marks, and even if people remember to fix them (many don't), unless they are really careful, it still leaves a depression. It takes a minute or so to clean up your line on nearly every green. Otherwise, the service tends to be really good, and little touches like available ice and water before each nine are nice. They could stand to have combo tees since the difference in the royal and gold tees is almost 500 yards.

I would definitely recommend this course to anyone

Very fine round of golf. Staff was very friendly and helpful. First hole Marshall was there to greet us. Course is in very nice shape and good challenge for the price. Pace was good and never felt rushed. Would play again and look forward doing so.

Got off on time but played behind members who had lost almost two holes. Even after a Pllayer Assistant talked to them. They played slower. There is no reason that a golf round should take 4 hrs and 50 minutes.
