Mirror Lakes Golf Club

We enjoyed our round. Florida courses r very overpriced at this time of the year. This course was in good condition and the staff very friendly. They worked with us to play with friends not originally scheduled with us.

The course was overbooked. Generally the foursome ahead was still waiting to tee off when we arrived at each hole.

Nice course though.

I would recommend this course as the first course to play on any trip to the fort Myers area. The course is wide open and the water hazards really do not come into play. There are many sand traps. The greens are average size and average speed. Just ok value for your money, but I would play this course again.

I think this course is WAY overbooking!!!! We had a 122 tee time yday and never teed off till 155 and then it was a 5 hour round!! This isn't the first time that has happen. I think there double booking with golf now. This is absolutly unexceptable!! When we arrived at the course there where 7 ( no lie ) 7 foursome on the 1st tee box.. This place needs to learn how to run a golf course!!!

The course is not manicured as well as could be but for the $$$ it is fine. The main concern is the greens are uneven with invasion of a poor grass or weed problem. Have a great round.

The course is ok for the $$$. Staff is friendly. Main concern is the unevenness of the greens---weedy appearance.

The course offered a different layout than most SW FL courses but was not in great condition.

Overbooked. Allowed 5 some on course when it was really slow.

We return to this course regularly because of the value for the money and ease of booking.

Although there is plenty of water, the course is pretty wide open. Some greens did contain some weeds/crabgrass and, were a bit slow but, rolled pretty true. Overall, the conditions were reasonable. It was a pretty windy day, so, course played long.December prices are good, but, don't think the advertised prices for January are justified, even for Florida

I liked the 707 yard par 6/5, # 11 hole. Par 3's were all very challenging, too. Loved the course and would definitely recommend it to friends.

From the time you arrive you are greeted very soon by a smiling cart caddie. The girls at the desk are always, personable, enthusiastic and professional.
People ask you if you wish to play through or join them.

Always a treat.

With water in play on several holes you need to be able to be accurate off the tee.

Course is in good condition, better than what I've seen in the past which was a nice surprise. Great value. We had a group in front of us that was very slow and had to wait to hit on each hole. The group behind us were "members". They called the pro shop and the ranger came and talked to us about pace of play. Funny thing is while he talked to us we were waiting to hit our 2nd shots (par 4) because the group in front of us were still chipping onto the green. The "members" behind us were not even at the tee box. This really bothered us and I won't play there again because of it. The ranger clearly saw the group ahead of us and he just keep saying well the members are asking for us to hurry it up. The ranger never talked to the group ahead of us. Good thing is we were able to skip the slow group at the turn while they were getting water/snacks.

Okay for the price and slow for a single so played 2 balls to make it feel like, I was not waiting after every shot. Hazards could have been marked, as well.

Enjoyed playing this hidden gem. a little out of the way, but a pleasure to play.

Slow play... There were constantly 3 groups in par 4s.
It was painful 5 hrs round.
Bunkers were like cement. I would consider them as ground under repair.

About 40 minutes from Naples/collier & Davis cost was under $50.. For 2 with cart where else can one find this deal.

I enjoy golfing at Mirror Lakes. During Florida's high season it is an oasis of moderately priced golf in a sea of the many many high priced golfing facilities in SW Florida. I enjoy the staff and the facilities. Understand that I'm a hacker and I like good value for my money. Mirror Lakes is the place. I like getting out at the crack of dawn and I can get a round of golf done in under 2 1/2 hours when pair with another person or friend.

Lots of water but not in play most of the course.
Course was in great shape.
