Course is in great condition right now. Greens are smooth fairways are playing nicely. Maybe the best shape I’ve seen the course in a long time.

Course has always been an excellent value for a great course. They only get better with excellent course management and great value. Staff are exceptional in offering customer service. Have been playing this course as a home course for last 15 years and it only gets better and better

Empire ranch was available to our twosome at the last minute. We had a tee time booked last week early for River Oaks in Nicklaus. But last minute golf now cancels that time as river oaks decides they were closing mon-tues. even after we had paid for the mon time.

This is the 3rd cancelled tee time thru golf now that left us scrambling to find other arrangements and at a much more expensive charge.

So maybe when all this shelter crap stops golf now will be reliable again.

Empire nice course but 50 bucks versus 27 for River Oaks affects retired players.

First time playing here. 75 miles from home and well worth the trip. Fair test of golf. Course was in fantastic shape, extremely lush for this time of year. Greens were in perfect shape and medium fast.

It was a rain off and on again day. The course is in great shape regardless of the weather greens are rolling pretty quick.

The fairways are smooth and rolling nicely. You’ll get an extra 20 yards off the tee with a good drive.

Great course.. You can practice all the shots you'll need.. Great condition year round

The course is in great shape. Only issue I have is the bunkers are unplayable. There’s 1/2” of fluffy sand on top of hardpan.

Greens are fast and the course is very well taken care of.

Thank goodness we lost yesterday's wind storm and today was calm, sunny and beautiful. The course, for the middle of winter, is in amazing shape - t-boxes, fairways and greens. (Compliments to the grounds crew!) No over watered, or rock hard fairways here. Covered the course is about 20 minutes over the expected time. Not bad for as busy as it was. We got started a little late because the other 2-some decided not to show up until just after the start time. We hope the starter/marshal had a polite conversation with the about start times and how Empire works. The 2-some said they play Empire about twice a month. Overall, great day to be out on a great course.

Course was in great shape for mid-November. Tee times were on schedule as we started right at our booked time of 10:30am. Pace of play was 4hr15min. Fairways and greens were well cared for, no bald or muddy spots. 10th hole the green was lacking a fringe, so my ball was on the green but up against a "collar" of 1st-cut rough.

Bunkers had soft sand and were thoroughly raked.

Staff in shop and grill area were friendly. No ability to Post my round after. Was advised to use my mobile device or log in to GHIN at home.

I was extremely impressed with the condition of this course. The condition of the fairways were great, The greens were good but it didn't seem like anyone was fixing their ball marks! The sand traps could use a little more love. Very enjoyable course.

The course is playing the best I have seen in years. Can’t wait to get back.
