Mather Golf Course

Once the foursome in front of our twosome pace was open. Greens crazy fast. But $11 for a beer?

Mather is a very nice course, with good greens and significant but playable rough. I will look forward to playing there again.

Got 2 groups of 4 double booked in front of us. Not much regulating on slow play. Greens need work. Need a free bucket of balls or discount on next round for that foolishness. At least give everyone a heads up...including your starter.

I went in expecting muddy conditions, and the first fairway did not disappoint. But, after that first hole the course was playing pretty great even after 2 days of rain. I was pleasantly surprised with the conditions for February. Very easy track which is fine if you're tired of beating yourself up and losing balls left and right at Darkhorse/Ridge/Winchester/Apple Mtn.

The starter and pro shop guy couldn't have been any better.

Had a better time than expected and will return when I need a break from the tough foothills courses

I’ve played Mather dozens of times, and it’s normally in better condition. The greens are usually firm and true, but were a little “chewed up” this round. Lots of bare spots in the fairways and dense lettuce-like weeds in the rough made it difficult to find balls 10 yards off the fairway. Nothing that can’t be fixed with weed whackers and a little TLC by the maintenance staff. It will probably be back to normal by April.

First, my tee time was delayed by 30 minutes due to slow play. No marshalls on the course. Every tee shot finding a fairway was penalized by muddy turf conditions and thin grass. The greens were poorly maintained. Play was very slow.

The course was very muddy. The price seemed a little high for the course conditions and it being a January round. Other than that, the staff was super friendly. I did get a sandwich before going out and my tomato had a little bit of mold on it. Not the best experience, but I did get to Golf in January.

Well what did I expect after 3” of rain. Still greens and tee boxes were in great shape. Many of the back holes where well drained

The course was very brown, dry, and hard as a rock.

Great condition overall. Green were fast and slow, so a little inconsistent to play with.

Please put the tee box markers in a place that makes sense, or trim some trees. This will only help with the pace of play overall. The two tone flags are not needed. Just keep, red, white and blue.

Overall good conditions. A few greens need TLC, but management is taking care of it,

Course I as in good shape when I played it like 3 months ago. But this time around the greens were in bad shape along with the fairways. Definitely not worth the $72 that I paid.
