About
Whitney Oaks Golf Club in Rocklin sits just half an hour from Sacramento but the stunning landscape blanketed with thousands of live oaks feels much more secluded. In addition to the trees, massive granite outcroppings accent the course. It is both a visually stunning and formidable championship layout. The diverse topography is the focus, providing many challenges with the elevation changes and towering trees that line the narrow fairways. The rolling topography helped to determine the placement of the bunkers. Wetlands come into play throughout the golf course, also serving as home to numerous varieties of indigenous wildlife. The golf course finishes with a tough hole, a long par 5 that is flanked by wetlands on both the left and right. Whitney Oaks G.C. also has a practice facility with a 15-station driving range, a putting green, and pitching area.

Course is in GREAT shape!
Round was a little slow, but it was a Sunday morning. The course is in amazing shape. Better than I have seen it in a few years.
Course needs attention
There some trees that fell down in Winter that are on the course still that need to be removed, especially on the 10th hole. They are dead and just laying there and on the 16th there is a tree they removed and left a 4 ft stump just sitting there that needs to be removed. A little move attention to the esthetics would go a long way there.
Greens are so pure
Layout is funky, pro golfer Mr miller trying to hard.
That said it plays nice, greens are pure and fairway grass is the best you'll find around here.
A+ Course
Was super fun to plan & the course presented a fun challenge. Will definitely be going back!
Nice tract
They could use some aggressive weed control on the fairways, otherwise the course is in very good condition.
Challenging
High handicap player and first time at the course. Completely enjoyed the experience. It is not an easy course. Narrow fairways, trees everywhere and lightning fast greens. Playing this course made me better. I can see how each time you play it is a different experience.
Course was in great shape. Played on a Friday and finished 9 minutes behind schedule. Will play again and bring lots of extra balls.

First time playing this course, well laid out course and challenging. Gained some very good experience managing my game. Definitely look at returning again.
