Empire Ranch Golf Club

Course in very good shape, greens way too fast for the avg guy everyone in our group had at least 4 3 putts each! Greens are very large, above the hole was almost a certain 10 footer for par coming back! Nice variety of golf holes, long and short. Not a fan of the 18th, really a 3.5 par 3 hole.

Being a 20 handicap, i found this course to be both challenging and entertaining. For the time of year, this course was in very good condition. Will definitely play again soon.

The course is drying out. Actually got roll out of drives. Greens are in great shape. I wish they would flip the front and back, hate finishing on a par 3.

Greens were in good, shape-soft but quick. Considering all of the rain we have been having, fairways were decent, but the "cart path only" rule really slowed play - 5 hours to play, lots of waiting. If I played again, I would walk it.

It was near end of Dec. so the course was understandably not in mid season condition. The back 9 is the much more interesting of the 2.

I like Empire Ranch. It has wide open fairways but it does have it's challenges with many bunkers and water hazards. It does have good elevation changes as well. Enjoy!

Although the course was still damp from rain the previous evening, the greens were firm and fast. Some soggy spots in the fairways and sand traps, but manageable.

Overall, easy way to book a tee time.

the course was a little soggy with bunkers full of water all over the place but i understand that's hard to avoid. it did not detract from a fun, challenging round.

greens were in absolutely great shape as was most of the course. some tee boxes could do with a groom.

always a fun place to play and that tee shot on 18 is great to look forward to...

Being an average golfer, our foursome felt rushed through most of the course. We were Warned 4 times to hurry. Nt used to that type treatment. Has never happened B/4.

My wife has just started golfing and she had a blast. She was able to tee off on each hole and she only picked up her ball on 3 of the 12 holes we played.

"TRUTH" -NO COURSE (PLAY) MANAGEMENT.
I had the experience on this day where there were (2) groups in front of me who were alternating (back & forth with 3-4 players in each group) players, playing (2) balls.

I spent 5 1/2 hrs playing this course on a weekday afternoon. The pro shop failed to state that there was a very slow tourney in front of us. I sent an email re: my experience to the course but I have received no response. They seam eager to take your $$ but then they're done with you.

We showed up a day earlier than our tee time as there was an error in booking on our part. but the pro was very accomodating and got us out right away. The course was in very good shape and the price was well worth it. The course is very forgiving and not what your looking for if want a challenging experience but it is a great place to play for a relaxing round of golf.

I played this course on October 15, 2012 for the very first time. While i enjoyed playing here, a high school tournament that was being played slowed down the round in a big way. I wish the course officials had managed it better as the high schoolers were very slow in play.

We played on a 7:30 shotgun that went off before a tournament in the afternoon. As a result, we only had to pay $35 w/cart, so that was a good bargain. The course normally charges over $50 for a Friday morning round - a price I'm just not willing to pay.

It's a well-designed track (just like other Brad Bell designed courses Teal Bend, Turkey Creek, and Yocha De He) and in great shape, but with so many other courses in the area, you would hope for fees to be a bit lower. I get it though; a course needs to make a profit in order to stay open. Sadly, even a well-designed course in great shape won't get me to drop more than $45 on a Friday morning. There are just too many other courses of equal quality in the area that charge less.

Hadn't played Empire Ranch this year but have several times in the past. Course conditions, grren, fairways, rough were as good as I've ever seen.

Great Friday late morning deal. Played as a 3-some in 4 hours.

Exceptional value, especially after 3pm. The greens are rolling true and the rough is challenging, especially around the greens. Only downside, beverage cart usually not out after 3.
