Moorpark Country Club - The Ridgeline Golf Course

First off there is 3 9 hole courses. I played 2. I played the creekside and the ridgeline. Both courses I Played were very difficult but I enjoyed the view. There is many elavation changes. This was Great!. This course wad so much fun. Come enjoy. I know I will be back and soon.

Played with 3 friends and had a great time. The course was in good conditions and the greens rolled true. Finished round in 3 1/2 hours - never had to wait nor never felt rushed! It was day!

Had a great time played Ridgeline enjoyed it. Great views and scenery very quiet.

This is a great course with very good condition and big challenge.

What should be a fully private course is available to the hoi polloi. A good 40 minutes outside LA, it is well worth the drive, especially if they have promotions going. With 27 Holes, and varying degrees of slope and distance, you can play this course 10 times and it will never feel the same. The facilities are immaculate. And it is very well maintained.

This was my first time playing this course. As a country club course - and for the price, I had higher expectations. The guy at the pro shop counter was indifferent at our presence. Not impressed. There appears to be no dress code as a woman wearing short running shorts and a tank top was warming off, then went off to golf with a foursome. Not impressed. The starter was very nice, but the course was overbooked as our round was a 5 hour round. Not impressed. The group behind us hit into us a couple of times too. Not impressed. There are power lines that cross over the course. Not impressed. I won't be returning, even if the round was free.

this was my 3rd time in two weeks and I enjoy each time. I will be playing again on the 6th. Fairways are fair and forgiving, the greens read some what true with little surprises, but overall best course in Ventura County. I plan on many more outings at this venue. A must for all. It is 27 holes and you get to play all three but only two at a time.

Had an excellent round. Course in very nice condition considering the hot weather we have had this Summer. When the wind blows be sure to have an extra sleeve or four! Got thirsty on the back 9, called the club-house and the beverage cart was there in minutes! Looking forward to playing Moorpark CC again soon!

Greens were in fantastic shape; pace of play was excellent. The weather was perfect a nice ocean breeze. The elevation changes were challenging, but fair. Great restaurant facilities with a friendly staff.

I was very impressed. So impressed that I'm going back there to play in three weeks!
it' s only a two hour drive for me, but it's well worth it!

I want to say a special thanks to Haley! Haley was the cart girl and her service was top notch. She wasn't feeling very good that day but was still at the top of her game. Hope she and the other fine people are there when I go back.

The course was in very good shape especially considering the current drought conditions. I booked a hot deal so received a substantial discount over the normal $80 rate. There are 3 different sets of 9 holes and it is ad hoc to which are to be played and it seems there is no system to assist the starter in deciding which to play. We played the first 9 in good time, 1 minute over pace of play, according to the GPS system. The starter checked our GPS at the turn to ensure we were on time and mentioned that there was a group in the red meaning more than 15 minutes over pace of play. We quickly discovered who that group was on the first hole of the second nine and waited on each shot for the remainder of the round. Our GPS soon informed us we were behind pace of play on the next hole. We never saw a Marshall on the course and we finished in round in 4:45. Why track pace of play if you don't do anything about it? If the starter was aware of a slow group but did not know which it was and proceeded to stack up golfers on that set of 9 holes. By the time we finished there were multiple groups waiting on the 9th tee. I would certainly play this course for the $44 dollars I paid but nothing stood out to make me want to play it again for the normal $80 rate. There are many alternatives for less money in the area.

great green, receptive and rolling true, with subtle changes on most putting surfaces. Nice vistas from the tee boxes, well maintained fairways. At a discount, well worth the price of admission

My wife, son and I played July 4, 2014. The course was in excellent condition. We teed at 2 PM and found the pace of play to be great. We finished in 4 hours and 10 minutes even after leaving a club two holes back and returning for it. The carts were in great shape with a really good gps system. We have played lots of courses and this course compares to any. The wind does tend to blow in the evenings and shots have to take this into account. Greens were moderately fast and ball rolled truer than most. I loved playing this course and would recommend to anyone with at least a 18 handicap. If uour handicap is higher it's probably not the best course to play. I also want to mention that we ate at the restaurant and the food was great with really good service. This was our 2nd time to play here and we will be back.

This course is very great.. But staff is really no good.

Amazing course. Plus, the pace of play is outstanding. Being a country club, they definitely have the membership money to keep this course in great shape. Super challenging. We booked 18 holes, but ended up playing all three 9 hole courses because we couldn't get enough. Some of these holes are incredibly intimidating, but they're all playable! Have fun. Would highly recommend.

Moorpark CC is an awesome collection of 27 holes. All 3 tracks are great.
