Spessard Holland Golf Course

I played as a two-some and the course was in average condition. We played 18 holes in about 3 1/2 hours. There was a three-some and a four-some that allowed us to play through. Proper golf courtesy. This course fits both me and my friends game quite well, not excessive long holes. It was a little windy but you just need to take take that into consideration. The price in Florida during the winter was reasonable. The greens were just a little slower than usual.

A decent course but nothing special Short length but accuracy a must

Loved our round of 18 holes and had a lot of fun. Saw a lot of beautiful birds (eagle, kingfisher, hawk, wood stork)

Fun course. Short holes will challenge your accuracy. Fairways and greens were in excellent condition. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Far exceeded our expectations.

This was the first time I played all the way through 18. Quite enjoyable.

Play this course weekly and using golfnow got a significant discount for a time i would normally play. Course ingreat shape. Not long, but has challenges. Good use of irons and woods. Greens are excellent.

Great course!!! I have to rate this excellent but I could deduct a point for the bunkers. They have too much soft sand and are inconsistent from 8 inches-losing your feet and sliding under the ball to a "scully" waiting to happen. Through the green is excellent. The greens are well-kept but a bit slow for my taste. Don't let the par 67 fool you; this course has all of the challenge anyone could ask for. Bring your "A" game or enough golf balls. Staff is excellent!

If you have difficulty with a hook or slice you will really struggle on this course. You need to know the distance of each of your clubs to have a good game, and the breeze WILL have an impact. Tight course,. Hit straight and choose your lay-ups and you will be ok. A good course in my opinion. Very well maintained and nice greens. I will be back!!

Had an enjoyable day with friends. Course is challenging and pretty landscaping. Even can order lunch at the 9,th hole. Lost 3 balls!

Big surprise as to quality and condition of the course. Play between the IR ad the Atlantic was just great.

Great course.
It had some tricky but forgiving traps for a course with so much water. Situated directly on banana river across from the beach. Went for a swim after the 18th hole.
Loved it;)

Our time would have scored better except we got behind four club members that refused to observe course etiquette. We had to wait on every single shot after the first hole. There was no one in front of them and no one in back of us. Yes we could have skipped around them, but why? There were only two of us and we weren't a couple of hacks.

Always a joy to play Spessard Holland nice executive course located between the ocean and River. Overall course condition is in very good shape. Definitely a recommended play

Paid around $20. I wouldn't pay more for this course.
It is very short, more of an executive type course.
Conditions were below average.

The food service staff were very nice, the pro shop person was DOA. This guy should not be dealing with the public.

Have golfed here a few times and always enjoy my round.Even though it rained most of the night before and during our round the course was still in good shape. Its always nice and breezy on the beach.

Management in pro shop not very nice , I guess having a bad day at the golf course on the beach, go figure.

The course was in good condition. Hole 14 is beautiful. It lies right next to the Indian River. My wife got her first hole in one on hole 4. It was fun until we got to hole 16 when it started raining and the wind was blowing hard.

This course is in very good shape as usual. Being by the ocean helps with a sea breeze on hot afternoons.

You're surrounded by the intracoastal and the ocean and ponds. The greens are a little sandy due to maintenance. Usually they are in really great shape. The staff is super friendly here. The course can be challenging when playing from the back tees. If you play here as often as do I, try playing without your woods for a round. It's good iron practice. I love having this place to myself so do me a favor and stay home. Locals only!! Just kidding
