Spessard Holland Golf Course

The staff was friendly and the course was ingreatshape. Tight course but very fair. Have to deal with the palm trees also.

Good course in adverse weather conditions. Upset when food and beverage club house was closed --- assumed due to weather and/or lack of customers?

I thought the course was over priced for being a par 67. The course was in good condition and the staff was friendly but not a regulation course yet it had more then regular prices.

This is a challenging course. The greens are in great shape and putt true. There are a couple of holes on the back 9 that have blind tee shots with water that I could not see. I lost a couple of balls in the water because I hit driver. The next time I play there, I will be smarter.

J'adore cette normale 67 pour la beauté de son paysage. Situé entre le canal et la mer, il est entouré d'eau. Une belle végétation, un terrain bien entretenu et des oiseaux partout.
La difficulté principale est l'eau, mais aussi de nombreuses trappes de sable. Il faut jouer de précision, à défaut de jouer long, car il y a un seul par 5. Le terrain est court, facile à marcher et très agréable. Nous étions en fin d'après-midi et le couché de soleil spectaculaire.

Very short course for the money. Course condition was fair , greens need some attention. Very narrow fairways course was built on lack of land to build a 18 hole course. Rates are to high for an executive course would not return

Course in great shape, great views of river..a target and layup layout and not a long drive course,, fun to play.....

Nice course for seniors. Can be difficult from the tips. Some forced carries over water

good little course. almost always busy so you will be waiting a lot. windy most of the time because its right on the ocean. keep the ball in the fairway and you'll be ok

Second time playing this course. Will play again if I get to that area again.

It was a rainy misty day, overall the course was in good shape. Pace of play was great as we were almost the only ones who wanted to play in the light rain.... Short course but challenging.

Got great rate via Golf Now. ($11) pretty busy despite windy conditions. Had to wait a spell to get placed with a twosome but not to slow once we got going.
Greens and fairways in very good condition. Greens a little fury and slow but rolled true.
Good course to sharpen your irons and fairway woods with many narrow fairways.

It's a good test to find safe landing zones,and you have to think about your approach shot instead of just banging out a drive.

Great time had by all. the speed was good 3 1/2 hours,for a week end hat was great.the course was a not easy, but fun, wth some great holes. some kind of hazard on each hole, from trees to water.Wild life all around you..A great time Thanks

The staff makes a point of letting you know that you will not be checked in or let out early since they do not get paid for these deals. If they don't like the deals, they should not be on the website

The course is kept in good condition and it is challenging without being overpowering. The ambient is unusually pleasant, practically a pitching wedge from the ocean. For the most part, the players one finds there are a classy lot.

Fun, fast layout...Challenging...Picturesque...Friendly

Spessard is a little gem. Always a fun course to play on and typically well maintained. I always like the fact that you can play thru other groups. Players are very courteous when I play by myself.
I like to challenge my clubs to play the course. Be aggressive or not. Teaching myself to not kill drives on this course helps my game. Most greens are small but well kept and really challenge the short game.
I have never been unhappy at Spessard.

The staff is very welcoming and friendly. We played in 3 hours, my husband and I enjoy it there, and would recommend it to all our friends. I've only been playing a couple of years, and I enjoyed playing it. The 14th hole, is a bit of a challenge, even for my husband. Water in front of it.

How bad can it be to play a round of golf with friends on hot humid Florida day. This course is short with many of the par 4's less than 300 yards.
It is in a nice location with 3 of the holes on the back nine running along the Indian River Lagoon.
Now the down side; The greens were recently aerated and sanded so putting was horrid. Hopefully, in a few weeks they will be improved by this effort. I'd wait at least 3 weeks unless you are just looking for quick round where you get a lot of practice using your short game.
