Thanks for taking some time to review our facility! We hope you are back out soon.
Good course for practice
Good condition considering the Sept 2016 hurricane hit there. Friendly staff - no rangers on the course. Very crowded the day we played. Rangers might have been able to speed play up a bit. One par 5 on the course, but enough length on some of the par 4's to warrant using the driver. All in all - a good course to spruce up your mid and short iron game,
There seems to be no concern about pace of play. The starter will keep sending them out but the backlog starts on the second hole.
Nice crossover course
First time playing here and enjoyed it. A short course but don't let that fool you. Challenging enough. Worked out good for us. The men played golf and the girls went to the beach. Everybody was happy.
Great Course for Seniors
I used to play this course almost all the time when I lived in that area. I moved further way and have been playing courses further north most of the time. I was able to get a deal of GolfNow and played yesterday. I forgot how great of a course this is for seniors. It is a par 67 course and only has one par 5. There are 6 par 3's with the longest being about 155 from the blue tees. The rest on par 4's and most are reachable for strong senior hitters and parable for those who have a good short game. We had such a good round yesterday we already booked again for next week.
Too crowded
The only big problem we had was the course layout forced you to be up against other players on other holes and got confusing were your next hole was. They need more directions especially for first time golfers. at this course
Beautiful day
I've never seen so many non-golfers playing in one place in my life. it's hard to imagine that after 15 minutes on one par 4 putting a 2 footer for a 9 could possibly be fun. save your money. if you do play don't make a dinner reservation.
Way too slow
I took us nearly five hours to play 18 holes. That is exceptionally long for this particular course. There were no Rangers patrolling the course that we noticed. Two members of our foursome quit after 11 holes realizing the round was going to be close to 5 hours at the very least. Won't be back until Mid May at the earliest. To bad, it's a nice well kept course
This is one of our favourite place to play while we are in Palm Bay for the winter. On this particular day we had a foursome of very slow players who were not letting anyone play through. We and the group behind up cut over to one of the 2 empty holes ahead of them just to maintain pace of play. Some days a Marshall would be useful.
Tight shirt course
Haven't played this course in years decided to take my son out because it was recommended from another course in the area if kids are starting off! It was great advice it's a very short course but very tight. I'm not very long off the tee but here I didn't have to use my driver at all I was hitting long irons off the tee! My son loved it especially hitting across water on to the green. Again it's still challenging bc it's a very tight course! Will definite come back here and play!
My go to course
I live five minutes away and this is my home course. Trickier than you might think. Plenty of water. Plenty of ball eating palm trees. It's a short course with a couple of driveable holes but it's narrow and can be difficult if windy which it usually is. The course is situated between the ocean and the inter coastal waterway, and the accompanying wind generated by both, will definitely factor in. Pace of play could be better but that generally speaks to the popularity of the place. Arnold Palmer designed course and my personal favorite.
Disappointment!!
We have enjoyed this course in the past. Booked on Golf Now for today....arrived to be told the front 9 was closed and we better hurry up and tee off because they had two leagues starting.
Got the cart to the tee, to find a group of 5 people teeing off in front of us....
25 mins later, we managed to hit, play out and head to the 11th hole.....only to find 5 people still on the tee....
They finished hitting and went to their balls, one of the carts headed back towards us.....A lady driving the cart shouted over, are you with Golf Now? I responded we had booked through them....she proceeded to say how they shouldn't be booking a two some and then another behind us etc., She was clearly annoyed that we were not members. I said I found it unusual for them to allow 5 in a group when it was very busy... She became very annoyed...and responded.... Well really there are 3 of us and 2 others...one of who is an employee of the course..... "We were coming back to tell you to play through...but forget it, we will split up into a 2 and a threesome and you can wait.... Enough!!! We left.....extremely disappointed that first, we were not advised by an email that the front 9 was closed and secondly that people were so rude and their was no course management of the number of players.
Just wanted to add that the Course Manager Ben contacted me and assured me this was a one time thing. As I said before we have always enjoyed the course and really appreciate the call from Ben. Will give it another try in January and hopefully have a much better review.
Wayne,
It was a pleasure speaking with you. I can't thank you enough for your feedback and we are really looking forward to seeing at the course again! Hopefully all your shots are straight and long! Thank you BG
Nice Course and Location
Overall the course was in decent shape. Even though it is a short course, the wind made it play much longer. Course is a little tight with hole stacked close together but to be expected when course is on a narrow island.
Beautiful views
Beautiful area to play a round. Well landscaped course. Staff was courteous. Need to be car.eful on some holes easy for your drive to enter a different fairway. Enough sand and water to make holes challenging.
Greetings Peter40,
