Stewart Peninsula Golf Course
About
Stewart Peninsula offers a nine-hole golf course along Lake Lewisville with dual greens on every hole. On the first round, you'll play from the red tees to the red flags, and on the back you'll go yellow to yellow. After a straightforward opening hole where the only real problem is a pesky fairway bunker, nos. 2 and 3 start a trend of interesting holes. No. 2 offers completely different looks from each set of tees. The right side pin placement presents problems because of the lake, and the left flag rests close to greenside mounding that will send balls bounding afar. Misses here should find the bunkers, as the recovery is not all that difficult from the sand. Stewart Peninsula's third hole is probably the signature, and a 250-yard drive will put you in prime position to go at the multi-tiered green. Avoid missing back right, as the up-and-down is especially difficult from that side.

Worst manager and disliked "Golf Pass(now)" member's.
Sturday morning, assigned manager(only single man in the Club house) might be disliked Hot deal "Golf Now" member and he made own ruled!! (The G manager? was wearing golfer's T-shirts with golfer's cap, look like he is golfer, too.)
At 12:30 was my tee time with wife and arrived an hour earier tee time and awaiting, at 12:28 tee off by starter said we can teeoff, due to no on showed up after two of golfer teeing off in front of my tee time, the starter show me his booking note,
Stop by marshall and he said see the manager at club house at 3rd greens. He saying that should paired with cart No 9 when we drove back to club house and when to back to 4th teeing off and reach 4th greens, no riders in Cart No,'s 9 of next groupof me.
Marshall follow us and stop again and follow back him to the office from the 4th greens.
I don't know what is ruled ..Can't play "two some" (even just teeing off by two player in front of my tee times) by manager, l agreed with him without argue.
But, if someone later than his own tee times, "excuse" in front of group to pass throughly by starter... Or missed their own tee time, either tell them to hurry to reach out... not to stop "on time group". That's normal procedure of the course or regrouping later.(common senses)
Me and my wife became an unhappy and mad for lost our times and golfers privileges with 50's years of experiences internationally and no good customer services at all this course management.
Also, sorry to say these..always bumped and no grasses on the fairways and less maintenances then other near by..Frisco or Dallas, Texas courses.
(only 9 holed courses!!!)
Finally Marshall belived and understood situations and We refused Marshall's offer.. several things for me and wife playing thru with new partner after passing next group of us at 5th teeing ground.
The manager never excused us, except Marshall.
We are considered not to playing this course for the time being.....
Good Value
Stewart Peninsula is good course to work on your game at. It has mostly Par 4s and 3s and if you play 18 holes, you play virtually the same hole twice (with the exception of the green). Pace of play is typically decent and it doesn’t break the bank. The sand traps need some love, and the fairways could use some over seeding at a minimum. On hole 7 they have made some investment, which has made the layout more playable and visually appealing. Give it a go!
Worst course ever
Quite literally the worst course I have ever played. Complete goat track. Only redeeming factor is it’s on a lake, which they clearly cannot use to water even the greens. It’s a 9 hole course they claim is 18 holes because they have two holes on every green—so you play the same offensively horrible 9 holes twice. You’d be better spent burning your $50 on fire and watching Tiger woods highlights on YouTube. I have never been more upset to be on a golf course.
Fun Design, Tough Play
The course is in a great setting, the design of each hole is fun with the right amount of challenge. However, pace of play and conditions are definitely an issue. 2.5 hours to play 9 holes was pretty rough.
Great mellow time - worth it
Guy in the clubhouse was outstanding and friendly. Course was not in the best of shape being winter. Greens great for the conditions and being on the lake. For the money can’t beat it. Laid back and easy really good people out here ! I’ll be back
Excellent upgrades to a fun layout
Carts, paths, drainage and traps all vastly improved. This is an “executive “ type of layout but the holes are very scenic and challenging. A great value course that requires decision making and ball striking.
Great Greens
I really enjoyed this course, the carts were brand new, the greens were awesome and the staff was friendly. I had tried this course out a few months ago and there was construction work going on but that was all completed now and the course looks beautiful.
Terrible course
The course conditions are absolutely horrible, armadillos have torn up most of the fairways leaving awful conditions however it seems they have done little beside attempting to lay sod over the holes which actually have only made the course worse. This course is only worth it if you live really close by and your paying less than 20.
First Round Here in Many Years
My daughter asked me to go play somewhere Sunday but we only had time for 9 holes. I thought about Stewart Peninsula as an option. I did not remember much about the course since it had been many years since playing here last. We enjoyed the course for the most part. Has a good combination of par 3s, 4s and 1 par 5. I could tell the summer took its toll on the fairways, but the small greens were in good shape. They are very small greens and very sloped. But it was good practice hitting most clubs in the bag and played pretty fast. It was windy which comes off the lake and definitely affects the shots. There is some repair work going on one hole that is generally a par 4 that was shortened to a 3 for now.
Great Course
Playing early or late this course has some stunning views of the lake it’s worth it to finish the day playing golf by the lake
Wind was ridiculous
Course was in Ok shape. Greens were fairly slow but mostly rolled smooth. Fairways a little sparse in lots of places.
There was a marshal on the course but he wasn't speeding up play. The group in front of us was constantly screwing around and just stopping so they could all chat. On one hole they drove out about 250 yards and stopped all together for a few minutes before one of them walked back towards the tee at least 150 yards looking for his ball. The marshal watched this entire event.
The course is 9 holes with 2 sets of tees and 2 sets of flags. This provides a little more variety than a straight 9 hole course but not much.
The wind coming off the lake is significantly stronger here than most other courses in the area, so be prepared,
unworthy course
The used 9 hole course and make you play twice to make it 18 hole this is cheating..
