Stewart Peninsula Golf Course
About
Stewart Peninsula offers a nine-hole golf course along Lake Lewisville with dual greens on every hole. On the first round, you'll play from the red tees to the red flags, and on the back you'll go yellow to yellow. After a straightforward opening hole where the only real problem is a pesky fairway bunker, nos. 2 and 3 start a trend of interesting holes. No. 2 offers completely different looks from each set of tees. The right side pin placement presents problems because of the lake, and the left flag rests close to greenside mounding that will send balls bounding afar. Misses here should find the bunkers, as the recovery is not all that difficult from the sand. Stewart Peninsula's third hole is probably the signature, and a 250-yard drive will put you in prime position to go at the multi-tiered green. Avoid missing back right, as the up-and-down is especially difficult from that side.

Greens were in very poor condition
The greens on every hole were in very poor condition. This made for a very frustrating round of golf as the ball would simply bounce all over the place when putting.
Stewart Peninsula
Good staff , good pace of play.
Greens are patchy w/large bald spots. Like putting on cement
Stuart Peninsula May 3
Without knowing it, they had sanded all the greens, so they were in very poor condition. Putting was a huge challenge. I know it was in preparation for the summer coming. But on that day, it made putting quite difficult.
Very Nice Solid Pace 9 Hole course you play twice
Staff is great course is below average and it’s a 9 hole course you play twice. Would only go back because I liked the staff so much.

The green were horrible. They were sanded, and not cut, so putts were very bouncy. Fairways were also not in the best condition. I believe they are trying to get ready for later, but it was not the best days to play it.
DO NOT WASTE MONEY!!!!!
This was the worst course I have ever played on. It is a 9-hole course that has big greens with 2 pins on it. This was a horrible managed course and presents a 18hole course and it is not. Ever single green was diseased. No way to read putts and the fairways were not any better. Our tee time was at 8am and the course personnel didn’t show up till 745am. This was in no way a course I would ever play again even if it was for free. Very poor course and no pride in the course except the from of the club house. That was the only thing that could be perceived as grass. Do not waste the money on this course.
Greens in poor shape
Greens were very poor, some dead areas, hard to get your out to roll straight. Rest of course was ok.
Fun little course.
Pace a play was good. You’re basically doing a loop around the first 9. Shooting to different flags. Views are great. Greens definitely need some maintenance super bumpy and patchy. Overall a fun course to work on your short game.
