Stewart Peninsula Golf Course
About
Stewart Peninsula offers a nine-hole golf course along Lake Lewisville with dual greens on every hole. On the first round, you'll play from the red tees to the red flags, and on the back you'll go yellow to yellow. After a straightforward opening hole where the only real problem is a pesky fairway bunker, nos. 2 and 3 start a trend of interesting holes. No. 2 offers completely different looks from each set of tees. The right side pin placement presents problems because of the lake, and the left flag rests close to greenside mounding that will send balls bounding afar. Misses here should find the bunkers, as the recovery is not all that difficult from the sand. Stewart Peninsula's third hole is probably the signature, and a 250-yard drive will put you in prime position to go at the multi-tiered green. Avoid missing back right, as the up-and-down is especially difficult from that side.

Don't waste your time
Pretty friendly staff and good lake is only good thing about this course. Greens were actually ok. But might as well save your money and go play a par 3 course when 5 out of the 9 holes are par 3's. Also there's only 9 holes you just play them twice with the back 9 having slightly different pin locations and tee boxes. I'd love to play this place for 30 just not 60.
Fun round at Stewart Peninsula
My foursome had a great time playing Stewart Peninsula. With the layout of four par threes, four par fours, and one par five on each nine it’s easy to get around in in 3 1/2 hours or less. Greens are in superb condition. The staff was very friendly plenty of snacks and beverages at the turn.
Fun course
It's not a difficult course but challenging. It's always fun to play.
End of summer
Birthday treat with son and daughter. I really appreciate this course and layout. The staff is awesome. So friendly and will oblige as much as they can.
Extremely dry summer with winds off lake that don't help. The greens were great. The bunkers needed help and the fairways were Texas summer beaten. Not a problem but would have enjoyed better paying a discounted rate knowing balls would be eaten by the earth.
Grea staff. Enjoyable family. Love the layout. Yes, will play again in late fall or spring.
This course is bad
They should have mentioned on the posting that the course is under heavy construction and is basically dead except the greens(which had crab grass on them) for 50 dollars I could have not had a worst time. In a beautiful piece of land and just wasted with this course
Too much construction
This course is in poor shape due to the city construction and no rain. Large cracks in the fairways, lost a ball in one in the fairway. When it rains again and the construction is finished, should be a fun course to play. The two small green concept is a good one. People are very nice, just teh city has the course in really bad shape.
Bad shape
The course appears to have not been watered in months. Plenty of dry and barren areas on the tee boxes and in the fairways. The only areas that appear to have been watered were the greens. The rest of the course was a disaster.
Recommend.
Hey, it’s not the Trump Doral.. but it’s got some nice views, real relaxed play. I enjoyed as a beginner.
Under construction
Its a 25.00 course as it sits, under construction.
Dont think I would waste my time at this point
Challenging course
A challenging course. Its a fun way to spend the time.
Greens were in good shape. Back 9 was very slow. Overall a good 9 hole course that is played twice with different pin locations
Greens are better than "actually ok". Greens are in fantastic condition.
Your own comments look like a 4-star.
You'd "love to play it for 30, not 60" (it's 49.99 on weekends). It's 35.99 on weekdays.
Nine hole rate is 26.99.
