Stewart Peninsula Golf Course
About
Stewart Peninsula offers a nine-hole golf course along Lake Lewisville with dual greens on every hole. On the first round, you'll play from the red tees to the red flags, and on the back you'll go yellow to yellow. After a straightforward opening hole where the only real problem is a pesky fairway bunker, nos. 2 and 3 start a trend of interesting holes. No. 2 offers completely different looks from each set of tees. The right side pin placement presents problems because of the lake, and the left flag rests close to greenside mounding that will send balls bounding afar. Misses here should find the bunkers, as the recovery is not all that difficult from the sand. Stewart Peninsula's third hole is probably the signature, and a 250-yard drive will put you in prime position to go at the multi-tiered green. Avoid missing back right, as the up-and-down is especially difficult from that side.

Not a great course
Greens are horrible and bald. No difference between rough and fairway grass. Also the course is basically a 9 hole that you run thru twice with different tee boxes. The problem is if you are on the back 9 there’s another group playing right in front of you on the front 9 and you have another group behind you waiting. Overall not a great course and would prob not go again. You get what you paid for I guess.
Overpriced
This isn’t a good golf course for being a membership course. It was priced way higher than it should have been priced as well. This at best was a $20.00, 9-Hole course you play twice (2 different pin locations). The conditions were terrible, barely any grass to hit your ball off of, poorly kept greens, Sandy tee boxes, and dried up clay sand traps. The nicest part of the course was the driving range and putting green. Couldn’t get an accurate read on a single green either. Avoid this course if you don’t want to overpay for a mediocre round, play a municipal course for cheaper, same conditions
Fun course, friendly staff
Creative layout for a 9 hole course. Very friendly staff and pro shop stocked with essentials (including alcohol).
Lacking potential
Great view of lake lewisville. Horrible course conditions. Weeds on several of the greens. Also its only a 9 hole golf course. Spent $87 for two players only 9 holes. Lacking alot of potential. I was disappointed
Always Enjoyable!!
I always enjoy playing this course. It’s challenging enough but super forgiving as well. The layout is interesting as it’s a 9-hole with two sets of tees & two sets of holes on each green. The course conditions were not the best but we’re par for north Texas this time of year. Greens rolled true. As always, the staff is super friendly!! I look forward to my next round here.

Staff was friendly as soon as I walked in the door. Course conditions were pretty good and pace of play was good as well. 10/10 course
Surprise much??
Drove 1.5 hours and paid $50 each for basically a 9-hole course??? Wow. You think you’d tell people that this is NOT an 18 hole course in advance maybe??!! You literally played the same nine hole…but twice. How nice!
At least don’t charge 18-hole prices 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Staff was friendly but Won’t be coming back that’s for sure!
It's a neighborhood 9-hole course with 2 pins on each green set on a levee. The course is good for practicing driving and chipping because there is only 1 par 5 on the course. So if you hit long you may want to use this to tighten up your long irons.
Horrible golf course
The course has rocks everywhere hard fairways and greens. Golf carts are worn out. Staff is very pushy and act like you haven’t paid after you e been there all day. They stack too many tee times and pace of play was 5.5 hours for 18.
Pretty good
Play here a lot, 9 holes with 2 holes on each green. Can’t beat the lake view and the holes are actually a lot of fun. Sometimes beginners slow the pace of play. Worth the money
