Stewart Peninsula Golf Course

About
Stewart Peninsula offers a nine-hole golf course along Lake Lewisville with dual greens on every hole. On the first round, you'll play from the red tees to the red flags, and on the back you'll go yellow to yellow. After a straightforward opening hole where the only real problem is a pesky fairway bunker, nos. 2 and 3 start a trend of interesting holes. No. 2 offers completely different looks from each set of tees. The right side pin placement presents problems because of the lake, and the left flag rests close to greenside mounding that will send balls bounding afar. Misses here should find the bunkers, as the recovery is not all that difficult from the sand. Stewart Peninsula's third hole is probably the signature, and a 250-yard drive will put you in prime position to go at the multi-tiered green. Avoid missing back right, as the up-and-down is especially difficult from that side.

Bad shape
The course appears to have not been watered in months. Plenty of dry and barren areas on the tee boxes and in the fairways. The only areas that appear to have been watered were the greens. The rest of the course was a disaster.
Recommend.
Hey, it’s not the Trump Doral.. but it’s got some nice views, real relaxed play. I enjoyed as a beginner.
Under construction
Its a 25.00 course as it sits, under construction.
Dont think I would waste my time at this point
Challenging course
A challenging course. Its a fun way to spend the time.
Greens were in good shape. Back 9 was very slow. Overall a good 9 hole course that is played twice with different pin locations
Different & fun
This course is really nice departure from other courses I've played in Dallas.
The shared greens experience (you play the same 9 holes twice, but from different tees to different flags on the shared green) is unique and appropriately challenging.
Excellent staff and feel
Maintained and extremely good value for the money. The man running the place is top notch. Pace of play is dependent on other golfers, but I've had no issues. I like this course. The accommodations at the club house are very fairly priced. They do not gouge.
Very cool course
Great time on the Peninsula. Great staff, interesting layout, good times
Good short course
I occasionally play at Stewart's Peninsula and have never had a bad round. It's a short course mostly par 3s, but a lot of fun. The greens are in very good shape. There was a lot of work being done around the course, but it didn't get in the way.
Nice layout but poor condition
Course conditions let this down, plus it is only a par 66 course which was a surprise. You play the 9 twice from different tee boxes to different pins. Fairly short but layout makes for some challenges. Greens were slow, fairways had a lot of cracks in the ground and bunkers were in really poor shape.
Mess around course
Says 18 holes but it’s a 9 hole course with separate tees for the front and the back. Burnt up and short. Not a full length course. Would be a fun after work 9 for 10$ but unfortunately its way more than that. Wouldn’t come back.
Don’t rush me
At 8:30 in the morning, we shouldn’t be rushed if no one is catching up from behind. We were started 10 minutes later than our tee time and the course added a golfer to our group. Added stress is unnecessary.
Probably the worst course in DFW
Tee boxes are sandy, hard and cracking. Greens are dry and bumpy. It's technically a 9 hole course with 2 adjoining greens (1 red flag for the front and a gold for the back) and 2 sets of tee boxes. If you are looking for a tee time on golf now, nearly every course near this one is 15 cheaper and far better kept.
Greens are in rough shape and traps need help. Staff was great.
