Rough Fairways
The fairways were bumpy and were difficult to hit off of. Too many holes or depressions in them. However, the greens were very good.
Good basic layout
The Valley course is a straightforward up and back course that is well maintained with greens that are challenging but fair. Big practice facility. Tournament course is much harder but fun when up to the challenge
Can’t wait to come back
Coyote Creek is an all day practice and play golf course. A must play for all
Easy drive from anywhere in the Bay.
Awesome Golf Playground
Coyote is a great place to hang out and practice your game. Huge chipping greens with distance
Putting is huge too. 2 courses to play.
A must play course. Well groomed course.
Looks easy but it's not
In general, most courses are flat and relatively wide. So, it looks easy course, but somehow you can't easily make your best score at here. I really enjoyed this course and will visit again for sure.
Disappointing
A buddy and I drove up from the Monterey area to play. We got stuck in more traffic than anticipated on the back end of rush hour and got to the course just four minutes before our tee time (10:25). I hopped out at the bag drop and rushed inside to check in, which was rather quick and seamless which was nice. We loaded up in the cart and raced over to the starter shack a couple hundred yards away. We pulled up at 10:26 to an empty shack and proceed to drive up to the tee box when we were yelled at to stop by a guy sitting in a cart 20 yards behind us, apparently the starter. He asks us who we were and we explained our situation. We were then told all the ways we were messing up the tee sheet by being one minute late to the tee and tells us we can't tee off because the guys we were paired with were already hitting their second shots from the fairway (obviously didn't wait til the 10:25 tee time to send them off). So we were forced to drive out to the fairway and start our round from there. Not a great start. I would expect some courtesy from the starter to not blame us for messing everything up right off the bat and actually wait til the tee time to send people off not 5 minutes early when there a twosome still not there. At least make some effort to find some middle ground (maybe drive out and let the guys know we're hitting up to join them? Idk, something) To top the day off the greens were nowhere near healed from a recent punch and we had no notification or warning of this before driving over an hour to get there and no reduced green fee. Highly disappointing
Great day
Went out with a friend and another player named Shawn. Had a great time , the course was in very good condition and we all had decent rounds.
Some good shots and of course some not so good, par for the course. We enjoy playing here once in awhile. Next time we may try the tournament side.
Slow play
It took 3 hours to finish 10 holes. Pace of play was bad We quit after 11 holes.
