Cart Path
I like golfing the Valley Course. It suits my skill level fairly well.. The pace of play was excellent. Teed off at 9:25. There was no one behind us the entire round. It was really peaceful and enjoyable. The T boxes were in decent shape. Some of the fairways need work, but good otherwise. The greens rolled well and some were difficult to read, the way it should be.
My only issue is with the cart path. It is in horrible condition all the way around. Cracks and raised portions everywhere. There were even a few stretches that had good sized holes in the path.
Come on Coyote Creek. I know it wouldn’t be an easy project, but it is in disrepair..
Nice Day At Coyote Creek
It turned out to be a very nice day at the course. The wind came up in the afternoon but there was no rain. If Only Golfers would repair their divots on the greens, it would make them so much better to putt on.
Beautiful Day
I really like this course because it gives you a challenge to hit a lot of different shots. The only downside of this, is golfers don’t seem to get the idea that in order to keep the greens in great condition, You Need To Repair Your Ball Marks on the GREENS!!! If you didn’t hit the green then repair someone else’s divot…. PLEASE DO IT!!!!
Long ‘n Flat
Coyote Creek Valley course is the less vaunted track when compared to Championship course. But it’s very good value ($90 on GN). Played off the whites and it is LONG. 6500. Greens are pretty good. Some light damage from the heat on a couple. Very flat course with some water features and lots of room from drives (I played a couple of approaches from other fairways). Playing from whites in 100 degree heat made this feel a bit of a slog. Some long par fours. Many of the holes felt similar but overall great value and I’ll likely play there regularly now that the comeback is on! :-)
Coyote Creek surpassed expectations
We hadn’t played the Valley Course in years but lots of fun and a good test of golf. The conditions were much improved and the greens rolled well. We will be back!
Greens very good
pace of play a little slower than we would have liked
Give it a try
Nice course with a great layout. Staff was friendly. Easy freeway access. A great choice if your in the San Jose/Gilroy area.
Course was nice. Everything else was subpar.
Golf course is really nice. Can’t complain much about the course. But everything else was lacking. The staff friendliness was kind of rude when I checked into the pro shop he kind of gave me attitude because I had a ride along, and I didn’t notify him quick enough for his liking. Nothing was open when I had a teatime at 7:45 AM and finally when there was food available. Everything had ran out so me and my girlfriend weren’t able to eat our whole round and we’re starving at the end. Also, the bathrooms Were disgusting outside of the clubhouse. Probably vunlikely I golf there again.
