RedMan
Price was right for the condition of the fairways and greens. Pace was good.
Rough start
Started rough behind a group of 6 in 3 carts taking 20 minutes before we could even tee off, clueless. Picked up and went around them. After that, was awesome. Good variety of holes and great for a mix of player abilities. Red tees were nice and forward too. Greens were interesting and warped. Fairways broad and some cool par 3a and fun approaches. The two 18s are pretty cool, although the weaving in and out could use an extra sign for newbies. Windy but enjoyed the extra adjustments needed. Great snack shack too.
Perfect weather
Had great weather! Everyone is always nice & friendly there!
Perfect weather
We had a real nice round, with real nice January Sunny weather! The course was in perfect condition and all the employees were professional!
Terrible Customer Service
I do not recommend playing at this course because the course policy is very customer unfriendly. I’ve played the Valley course many times. The course itself is reasonably well maintained, though the pace can be slow at times. However the customer service is awful. To begin with the only way to book a walking tee time is to call into the pro shop. Most of the time you’re redirected to the answering service which can’t book walking tee times and as a result you need to wait on hold until someone from the pro shop is available. This is irritating, but I’ve accepted the process a poor customer service, but something I would deal with. I tried booking a walking tee time for 1/5/2025 on the Valley course, but was told by the person at the pro shop whom identified himself as the manager, that the tee time I wanted was reserved for online bookings only. Meaning the course policy forced me to book a riding tee time even though I wanted a walking tee time. The manager told me if I wanted that tee time for walking I had to call 24 hours in advance. I know from experience that the chances that tee time (7:55) would be available 24 hours in advance were very slim. Just terrible customer service and a show of greed by the course. I’ve never experienced anything like that at any other course I’ve played at. Just awful.
Valley Course
We enjoyed our day playing the Valley Course which I feel is a fair test for intermediate golfers. The course was in very good shape despite having rained hard for several days. The driving range was a little muddy but still usable. The course itself drained very well and I think there was only one place where we noticed some standing water and it did not impact play. The Valley course is intertwined with the Championship course which can be a little confusing to navigate. One good thing about this tis that an errant shot is many times still recoverable. I noticed that the front 9 and back 9 were switched from the last time I played the course. Pace of play was very good. We got off a little early and stayed ahead of the group behind us. Overall, a great day out.
Terrible Customer Service
It’s a good course, I like it, but the customer service and course booking policy is awful. I tried booking a walking tee time over the phone (the course doesn’t allow booking walking tee times online, which is very poor customer service to begin with) and I was told by the manager that the tee time I wanted was reserved for online booking only and I had to check 24 hours in advance of the tee time I wanted, which likely wouldn’t be available (I attempted to book 5 days in advance). In other words the course policy forces the customer to purchase a cart when booking more than 24 hours in advance. Terrible, I do not recommend this course to anyone.
Super smooth green and dry course after rain
This time I played right after a rain storm, Course was pretty dry, except some standing water in bunkers. The best part is the green, greens were super smooth. I really enjoyed!
