Golf board!!
I have always enjoyed playing the Valley course. Riding the Golf Board takes golf to a new level of fun. Course is pretty open and long. Holes are relatively straight. No real elevation changes. Greens were challenging.
Coyote Creek 1st Time
Overall great day at CC Golf Enjoyed playing on the Valley course
Challenging and fun
Course not in the best condition
Fairways need some attention. Not in the best condition..
Maintence
Booked a hot tee time on golf now. Where's why, they punched greens about 10 days ago and the punched around the greens yesterday and today. Chipping around goose size chunks of dirt. It wasn't all that bad but the add should have a notice of warning. The driving guys is a on edge. Freeway noise as always. Average for this place.
Pace of play
Good golf course. Playing at 11:30 was a mistake because they send the groups one after the other. The pace was very, very slow. We left after the 15 hole. We will try to play very early morning.
Slow play
We had to skip a hole to get around 4 women that took 1 hour to play 2 holes and we saw the marshall go by them a number of times and never say anything to them.
Great layout
The old Riverside twice as bigr100 times Fairways are groomed and the greens are fast love holes 2 through 8 on the back side of the freeway the wind was blowing unusually to the northwest which made for some tricky Club selections on some holes but hey that's the Coyote Valley and that's how it plays but overall great fun
GN App score keeper
I switched to my Apple Watch during the round, after 10th, but when I swtuched back to iPhone App, app crashed and I couldn't access previous holes score....ARGH!!!!
Great Course SLOW PLAY
The course is always in great shape but the pace of play is mostly SLOW, fix that and this would be a great place to play..
Advise when green are punched and sanded!!!
The course is very nice however the rough is long enough that you can find your ball just off the fairway unless you're standing over it. Too long for a regular course. It would be nice if "GolfNow" would advise player online if the course greens have been punched and sanded to about a month after. Player don't get what they paid for if they have been punched!
Really nice course
Great course, even with the greens recently sanded. Only complaint is with the Marshall. A little overzealous. He kept telling us we were falling behind, yet the group behind us was a hole behind and never caught us.
Missing information
We arrived early and had a nice lunch in the restaurant. After that we thought we had a nice round of golf ahead of us... We found out that we we had 5 four balls of college students ahead of us, that kind that hits very long but often not in the direction of the fairway.... They also have to check every putt from every angle possible.... This takes time.... We also found out one the first green that they were spiked and cut with a lot of sand in heaps..... It took us 1,5 hour to play 5 holes and then we jumped from 5 to 14 and played the next 5 holes in 40 minutes.... They should have informed us in the pro-shop about the course conditions....
Coyote Creek
Had a great day in between rain showers, and the course was in great shape. Will play here again.
The new sand is fantastic
Hit at least 6 green bunkers, but I was able to get out and land great shots. Nice CCGC, keep up the good work!
Needs to improve Marshall supervision
Excellent course very well maintain but they need to improve Marshall supervision. Players were not fair with other players. Wasting to much time looking for lost balls and were holding the game.
Coyote
Great.
Except no hot dogs or polish after 2 pm. Ridiculous. Starving. We would have spent at least another $30.00 . Only complaint. Courses are great.
8 holes in 2.5 hours
I attempted to play the Valley course with a 11:30 tee time. When booking online, the tee times before and after 11:30 were completely available, so I figured the course wouldn't be too busy.
At 11:25 I pulled up to the starter shack. The starter didn't seem to know the order of groups going out, and when driving up to the tee box, there were 3 groups stacked up and nobody knew the order. I ended up teeing off about 15 mins late. Through the first 7 holes I was waiting 10-15 mins before every shot. By the time I got to the 8th hole, it had been 2.5 hours, and there were now 4 groups stacked up on the 9th tee box. I was completely over it and just left.
So $46 for 8 holes and 2.5 hours sitting in a golf cart. Never saw a marshall on the course. The pace of play was completely unacceptable. 2.5 hours for 8 holes would have equaled 6 hours for the full 18.
Complete waste of my time and money. I will not be returning
Great price for a Great course
Coyote Creek is a great course and in good shape. The greens are the best in the area and we finished in under four hours.
Valley Course
The course has great greens. Tee boxes are just OK. The course is still trying to recover somewhat from the months of the drought. I am sure this course will be back to prime shape once the water is taken in from the past and upcoming rains.
