About
The desert foothills of the Tortolita Mountain Range provide the stunning backdrop for the three nines designed by Jack Nicklaus at The Golf Club at Dove Mountain. They are played in three different 18-hole combinations, one of them being Tortolita/Wild Burro. The Tortolita nine serves as the back nine for the PGA Tour's Accenture Match Play Championship, but Nicklaus considers Wild Burro to be the best of the three. Playing through canyons and desert washes, the golf course features dramatic elevation changes and stunning views. Tortolita's third hole has the highest elevation at the club while the ninth hole on Wild Burro is the longest finishing hole of any of the nines. The intricately contoured greens and strategic fairway bunkering provide a challenge for even experienced golfers.

Golf course at Dove Mountain
Awesome course. Great time. Only issue was that 15 of 18 pins were tucked within a few feet of fringe on shelves. I am not a pro!

Fun Course Fun People
Challenging course, but fun to play.
Also, very friendly members.
Like that you can walk if you want to.
Cart Path Only
Did not appreciate several ( at least 3 plus 3-par only , of course) holes being cart path only. They are long,wide fairways and hard to walk for older players. Did not appear to have enough players to justify “resting “ these fairways.
Private resort views
Always a pleasure to play dove mountain. From droppin off clubs to staff to range and this course has all the bells and whistles to a very enjoyable day of golf. Oh and the course has super views of mountains and tucson.
loud music
The group in front of us had a boom box playing very loudly all 18 holes. Could be heard 2 holes away. The more holes they played the slower they got. We found that to be very rude. What a way to 18 holes on a wonderful course. Club house needs to control this better.
One of Tucson’s Best
Dove Mountain ranks as one of my top three favorites in the Tucson area. The course is in terrific condition with a great layout and fabulous scenery.
A Course Marshall is needed to keep Resort players on time and up with golfers in front of them.
Also, one player in the foursome in front of us had spikes on his shoes. We were constantly repairing fresh spike marks and divots.
This was a PGA tournament course. Please continue an excellent experience as it was in the past.

Just wish I could play it more often.
Makes you think about every shot.
Leave your driver in the bag if you can't hit it straight.
Amateur opportunity to play a pro course @ reasonable price
It’s always a treat to play Dove Mountain. I doubt there is a more affordable couse where the pros play. It’s not an easy course for us amateurs, but if the round goes bad there is always the awesome scenery.
Best course in tucson
The course is as difficult as desert golf can be. It is long and the greens are ridiculous. I am not a good golfer, handycap of 15. The best part about this course is that it is surrounded by the real desert and not by houses. It won't be that way forever. I think is the most challenging well kept well staffed beautiful course in Tucson area.
Great Place to Play
Awesome round of golf just me and my brother had the place to ourselves Course is in excellent shape greens our fast.
Excellent design with great greens
Course was great value. A typical Nicklaus design great layout, greens are high level of difficulty.
Difficult but excellent facility. Played as twosome. Speed of play was fast due to few players.
