The Golf Club at Dove Mountain - Tortolita/Wild Burro

One of the top courses I’ve played in Arizona. Every hole had a spectacular view of the Arizona landscape. The course was difficult yet fair. Played 18 holes in less than 3.5 hours. Cart path only on one of the 9 hole courses but not a bad walk to the ball. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend to friends. A true jewel in the desert.

Golf Club at Dove Mountain is a special place...all the way around. Even before you get to the course, the Sonoran desert architectural style grabs you. The design is flawless.

Course check-in is friendly and like clockwork. Practice area is over the top. Arrive early to tune your swing.

On course, expect a challenge. Nothing unfair about this course, but don't expect a Saturday at the Muni.

Played 18 holes and never saw 1 ball washer

Since the fairways were being watered balls got quite muddy.

The golf club at Dove Mountain surely has some breathtaking views! Well maintained grass and fluffy bunkers with something new at every turn. Although the course was near perfection, the rest of the experience was far from it. We were told that we could tee off early by our starter as long as we gave the group in front of us a 20 minute buffer to get ahead of us. We ended up catching them on the second hole. There were groups in front that were slow in front of them, and we didn't see a ranger the whole time we played, eventually turning into a near 5 hour round and finishing in darkness. There was only one staff member running the whole entire outside service from bag drop, starting, cart wash, and range setup. I can't believe a golf course this pristine could be such short staffed. Worth the views, but don't expect to finish in under 5 hours.

These 3 9 hole courses are great and challenging to play. Play here almost every week and enjoy myself. Since my shots are straight I do not worry about losing golf balls.

Very challenging...always challenging! If you don't get too frustrated it's an awesome place to play. While out playing I saw Jimmy Kimmel. Nice guy!

I managed to find a great rate on Golf Now late in the day for play the next day. They were in the process of over seeding the entire complex and the range was closed for hand picking balls. Front nine was open for carts on fairways but back nine was path only and advertised well in advance. Greens q=were a bit slow but expected this time of year. I have played this course in all seasons and it's a KEEPER.

The pros hated it when they played the Accenture Match play I LOVE it and will play as often as I can.

A wonderful course with many challenges within. A course to play from the appropriate tees or you can pay the price. Course was in excellent shape but on back nine cart path only due to over seeding. The greens as all provide major undulations and don't be surprised by an occasional three putt!! The beautiful course lay out and views more than make up for this. A must play at least 1 time.

This course is difficult enough without currently being cart only. Add a recent hip replacement and you end up aiming each shot to be close to the cart path.

Look forward to play here again when the cart only restrictions are lifted.

Course fairways were recently over-seeded with winter rye in great shape. Bent grass greens are soft - they are watered heavily and putting over a small amount of wear/tear. Overall, greens were slow.

This time of year, courses are re-opening after re-seeding. Course was in great shape but cart path only for 11 of 18 holes. Driving range was still closed for re-seeding. No warm-up without range balls. Tee time reservation did not state restrictions or which two groups of nine holes that would be played. Poor tee time management by the starter, twosome sent early, then added a third player, followed by a twosome, and then two separate singles. My group was the threesome that started getting pushed by the two, then the one, then the next one while dealing with cart path only around hole eleven. This made for a frustrating back nine that should have been managed by the pro shop!

The course is in great shape, greens slow due to over seeding so be aggressive for now, in about 2-3 weeks they'll be extremely fast.

Staff in Pro Shop, top notch as well as outside staff, all make you feel welcome and glad you're there. Even the course maintenance crews are friendly, wave and smile.

During over seed, 11 holes were cart path only. Course was in great shape, greens hold your shot. Play tee box to your handicap or pay for it.

Just finished over seeding on back 9 and was cart path only,but was in great shape.NBD

BUT, when we arrived we were told that the driving range was closed due to over seeding that morning 10:30am. No mention of that when I called 2 days before . All we got from the desk kid was"Sorry,It can't be helped" X2 Attitude all over the place with not many golfers in sight. I would think they would be told to be nicer to those of us that do play in 100+ temps. My advice is go for the golf, ignore the people running the place. Treat them like nobody's cause that's how you're going to be treated.

Amazing course. Beautiful views. Greens a bit rough in a few areas. Course was in tremendous shape. It was great to be back.
