About
Originally the “elite” Sotogrande Country Club, a fancy 1960s par 3 track that was the finest of its kind in Texas, Westdale Hills was given new life in the late 1990s after being run down and abandoned. Part of the Westdale Hills apartment complex, the course plays around a lake, with water coming into play on most holes if you’re really hacking it up. Only three holes force a carry of the water. A few bunkers allow you to work on your short game, and the well-kept Bermuda greens can get pretty quick depending on the time of year.
Getting there : From DFW Airport, take 183 to North Richland Hills and exit Central. Dead end at Pipeline and turn right. Drive about ½ mile to El Camino Real, and turn left into the apartment complex.

Didn’t know…
Only a par 3 course. Thus no cart available. Both points were not mentioned in the ad. Wouldn’t pay $30 for a 9 hole par 3 course without a cart. Nope.
Playing for Years
Great par 3. Been coming here for years. I’m an avid golfer and play all over. This place is a quick and challenging course. Love coming here to work on irons and short game. I also have to laugh at some of the bad reviews…you have to look at this course like the Cheers Bar of golf courses….it’s not run like a country club. There’s rarely anyone at the office and most regulars just tee off on their own without checking in. And then afterwards you’ll usually run into someone so you can pay. They work almost on an honor system. It’s fairly well maintained for not having a lot of money to throw at it. Not carts allowed, only push. All you bad review people….it’s a par-3 course in Euless….and costs $10…..stop trying to act like you’re scheduling a tee time at Colonial.
Never again.
The man working in the pro shop was very rude when we walked in to check in and pay and the place smelled like cigarettes inside. People were just walking up to play and never even checked in to pay, Between poor customer service (WOW that man working at this course had such negative energy), the holes not really marked well, anyone and everyone allowed to play whether you pay or not, never again. I didn’t feel safe.

Great Practice Course
On 03/18 I played this course for the second time ever. First time I went with friends, but this time I wanted to go by myself. If you’re a beginner, like me, you will enjoy this course as each hole offers you a different challenge and none of them are extremely difficult. It’s great for practicing on your pitching as well as your short game. The course could be maintained a little better, I did notice a black tarp that was left out on some sand banks, but aside from that everything else was decent. First time I went, I remember the greens were pretty bad, but this past weekend I could tell that they had gotten much better. I believe I will come back here to continue practicing.
Cheap 9 hole round
Not in great condition but you pay for what you get. Wish the course was in better condition as it s a great layout and good walk.
Needs work
Great layout for a par 3 course. Lots of potential but certain pin locations were impossible to get your ball to stop remotely close to the hole
Public par 3
End of winter the course is not looking its best to say the least. We had a good time and enjoyed the outdoors. Treated it like a range session for the hot deal price. If I lived closer I would enjoy going back.
First time out
Great hidden par 3 course. It’s a compact 9 hole with houses and LOTS of water but well done. I will be back.

Good fun little course but if you click the address within the app, it’s incorrect.
