About
The Wildhorse Golf Club is the first of three planned courses for the Robson Ranch Community outside of Denton. Designed by architect Gary Stephenson, the course opened the second nine in October 2002.
The signature hole is on the front, a 566-yard par 5 that requires a monster drive followed by two demanding approach shots.
Getting there : From Dallas take I-35 to Denton and look for the 35 W split. This takes you back towards the south to Fort Worth for 6 miles, where you’ll take the Robson Ranch exit. Drive 1.5 miles west and look for the course.

Great Greens
Played the South and West 9's with a very nice member who kept us out of trouble we couldn't see. Greens were perfect. Bermuda rough still pretty thick which made missing the fairways/greens challenging. All of the staff we met were extremely friendly. Would definitely play again.

Nice course
Course is very well kept and in great condition. However, for the rate they charge I expected it to be on par with other courses charging similar rates that offer gps-fitted carts, a well-stocked beverage cart, and the beverage cart to at least be fitted with technology capable of running credit cards for purchases. Personally I have played at a handful of other courses that are kept up just as nice as this one but offer a little bit more modern technology/experience.

After the big freeze things were a bit ragged. WOW this course is in excellent shape. Especially the greens and fairways. A top of the hat to the staff.

Nice course in golf community
I played the South and West 9s, but there is also a third called North. The layout uses the terrain and provides a good option of going for it or playing smart and using what the designers give you. The course was in excellent shape. The greens were very responsive, rolled true and fast. Lots of undulation in the greens to challenge all skill levels. Nice pro shop, driving range with both grass and mats, good practice putting green, and decent short game area. Food from the turn was really good and the prices were lower than most places I have played.

Turned away
When I arrived at the course I was informed I couldn’t play because they had no carts. They were hosting some college players, so I assume carts were given to people not playing golf. Regardless, the business model should be to accommodate the tee times booked. This was a first in all the time I have played golf.

Good Round
For the most part everything was great except the cart girl, she was out to lunch, very limited selections on beverages. Other than that everything was great
