Wildhorse Golf Club of Robson Ranch - South/West Course
About
The Wildhorse Golf Club is the first of three planned courses for the Robson Ranch Community outside of Denton. Designed by architect Gary Stephenson, the course opened the second nine in October 2002.
The signature hole is on the front, a 566-yard par 5 that requires a monster drive followed by two demanding approach shots.
Getting there : From Dallas take I-35 to Denton and look for the 35 W split. This takes you back towards the south to Fort Worth for 6 miles, where you’ll take the Robson Ranch exit. Drive 1.5 miles west and look for the course.

Golfer Reviews
Great course!
This course is in great shape. The staff in the clubhouse is always so friendly. The overall atmosphere and landscape is very relaxing. Would like to see a beverage cart on the course. I’m not sure if they have that option.
Great golf course
Wildhorse is a great semi-private golf club. I have played here a few times in different seasons throughout the year and always is in pristine conditions.
If you play here be prepared to find several groups of elderly players; good players most of them, don't get me wrong but the pace could be slow.
Let the kids play
My first time playing Playing behind a high school team. Because there were a lot of them and they were walking it was a little bit slower than what I’m used to, but I’m all for kids getting into golf so it didn’t bother me too much. Everyone is super nice and the courses always kept excellent condition. I’ve been going here for years until all my friends about it. Phenomenal value and will continue to go here for many years to come.
Quality track
Wild Horse Golf Course at Robson Ranch is an outstanding place to play.
Great shape with lots of challenges.
Not great
Expensive place to play and unfriendly staff. My foursome was early and the group ahead was late so Marshall told us to go and when we get to the green he comes and tells us to play faster and we are holding up the next group that was late.
